New installment of OtakuCook
Sun 2010/06/27 07:07 JST

Since starting a new job, barely have a time to cook at all.
Today, carved some time to prepare some GyuDon with Bunashimeji mushrooms for supper.
Tasty!

wow u made the gyudon urself??? lol u know u can have gyudon ordered for deliver in NY there is a Yoshinoya in Boardway
I'm in Brooklyn, so the only descent noms that I can get around here is reasonably priced, though incredibly tasty sushi.
But if I happen to be on the island there's only one destination for the real home-style Japanese cooking.
A small joint named "Soy", not far away from Williamsburg bridge. If you happen to be around that area, stop by, you won't regret it. Say hello to Etsuko-san for me. ^_^

Wow that looks mighty delicious even as a picture lol.. do u mind sharing some of ur recipes? and where do u shop for the ur ingredients? If u use msn or aim u can add me up. I'm from Manhattan btw :)
Well, frankly saying, it's not the recipe that matters most, but rather the place where to get the ingredients.
I usually go to Mitsuwa - Japanese supermarket on the other side of Hudson river.
There I get most of my tasty noms.
As far as IM goes I personally prefer ICQ; #254511193

Mitsuwa is so far away >_> taking the NJ transit is expensive..I wish there's an option for us to swim across the Hudson since its a hot summer day ^^
As for ICQ i don't have 1 and i prefer the simple to use msn / aim
Mate, cheer up! Apparently, there are shuttle buses from Penn Station straight to Mitsuwa (check Ref link).
