Fate/stay night Arms Umbrella: Excalibur

So i just checked amiami's preorder section and I found a very unique item and its the Saber's Umbrella. I must say this item sure got my attention and I even laughed a little when I saw it ^^
I have used many umbrella's and they do have the tendency to break rather easily with strong winds ( not strong enough to blow me away of coz ^^ ) I totally would have brought it if it wasn't 10,000 yen, that's more than $110 usd and knowing amiami I have the feeling it can only ship via ems, so that means the total can come out to be $150 when it gets released.
What do u guys think? is this worth the price tag? Would u use it in the rain or just to display?
For $110 that umbrella better shoot out laser beams or have the ability to instantly stop the rain. (I'd pay that amount for a nice 1:1 Excalibur though) :)
Looks pretty cool but probably not as functional as a regular umbrella thanks to that guard and straight hilt - it'd probably fly out of your hands in a strong wind because there's no hook. And for that price? No thank you.
I can imagine some cosplayers buying it to mod into a proper replica though.
I could buy umbrellas for the rest of my life with that much money.

A 10,000 yen umbrella really seems expensive. Aside from the Fate/Stay Night connection, how does this umbrella justify such a price tag? Perhaps there are some people who always wanted to carry a practical Excalibur around. Cosplayers, perhaps?
Japanese really got weird idea, but for over $100 ?! It's cool but, hold back.
I seen this before and thought it looked amazing. Was really thinking about ordering one, but when I seen the price I was immediately turned off. For $50 I might bite (even then that's expensive), but I don't like Saber all that much to spend $100+ for an umbrella.

You're probably right, in which case why make it an umbrella? A proper replica, even a plastic one, would probably sell pretty well at that price... but not an umbrella.
Sorry people will probably be laughing at my back if I ever bring this umbrealla out...

The Excalibur version is a lot less discrete and a lot more expensive!
wouldn't it freak ppl out if they saw u carrying around that thing that looks like a real katana and what if some cops stop u on the way, could they take it away or charge u for carrying it around?
I'd probably use it if it fit these 3 criteria:
1. Smaller hilt
2. Smaller guard
3. Less expensive
Other than that, looks impressive.
