Harajuku
One bright sunny Sunday we decided to visit Harajuku.
Having heard some thing about their distinct street fashion and stuff, we were pretty interested.
Full report in my blog.

It's crowded there on Sundays.

This strange man was mashing buttons on that device and it looked like he was counting people passing by or something like that.
I wonder what did he really do?

Great style here! I regret I was not able to take a picture from the other side.

I heard about strange Harajuku fashion, but German officer from WWII times?!

Cool bike. I wonder if these are real bikers or is it just a cosplay of some sort?

We were sitting next to this girl having food.

aNother one of bikers. Look, he really has a hairstyle like what we can see in certain anime!

Gothic Lolita! ;)

This girl has so many things attached to her cellphone, I wonder if she can make any calls at all or is she only limited to texting now.

HaHaHa, yeah. He is cool. I have never seen this fashion in Harajuku.
Got pics of these guys a couple of years ago at a concert at the Dome.
Looks like he's counting the traffic

Yeah, like I thought.
I wonder who gathers this sort of info and what would they do with it.
Besides, I suspect there are easier and more precise ways to obtain this info too.
What's this for?
Well, I guess it's a common face mask. It's very popular in Japan.
Perhaps some people try to protect others from own germs when they are ill and others are trying to protect themselves from outside hazards.
K-ON style huh? :]
of cause the bike's real
there are more weird ones in the show american hotrods and other biker shows in discovery turbo.
Nice!!
They are not bikers, they are part of the rockabilly subculture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockabilly)
Hm, interesting. Thanks for the link.
Is Rockabilly style closely linked with bikers in Japan? Why do they have such a bike (and I guess more than one) and hairstyles like bikers in the e.g. Shaman King (and I realize that reminds me of some older US hairstyles of Elvis era)?
The wikipedia article is totally silent about Japanese side of things.
