Yep. The book itself has a lot of stuff in it. When it came out, they confirmed that it would have to be split into two movies.
Finally, a movie that's in 3D but wasn't meant to be 3D! In my opinion, the only 3D films (which were really meant to be 3D) which were filmatographically well-made were Alice in Wonderland and Avatar. The other 3D movies looked as if the director was trying too hard to make the most out of the 3D experience, that filmatography wasn't given much attention anymore.
According to Yahoo, Harry Potter wasn't meant to be 3D, but just for the sake of it, there would be a 3D-convert which will take place post-production....
Truly a film worth waiting nearly 7 or 8 years for. What bad is that Part1 will be a HUGE Cliffhanger! To think that the climax would be in Part2.... looks as if they literally cut a book in two, leaving all the action into the latter part of the story which goes in Part2.
Clash of the Titans wasn't meant to be in 3D :\ They just converted it last minute to jump on the SUPER LAME bandwagon.
I hate 3D. I want it gone. No way in hell am I going to see the 3D version. It adds nothing to the movie whatsoever.
Otherwise the trailer looks cool. The gap between the two movies kinda sucks, but what sucks more in the shameless plugging of 3D.........GRRRRRRRRRRRR
I'm looking forward to it very much. But I'm a bit worried since the way they adapted the Half-blood Prince into film let me down a lot. Still, I hope it will be good as they have divided it into two parts so there's more time for development of the plot and they can hold on to what's in the book better. Furthermore, the trailer looks great.
btw. I don't think I will watch the 3D version.
Wohooo!! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows i been waiting for this^^. Well since its the last film they probably want to fit as much detail and story into it as possible. But i do want to buy the Blue Ray DVD Box set if there is one coming out lol

Man, we watched those kids grow, and after the movies are done, they're setting out to the open world with many more opportunities :'D
Saw this yesterday (the trailer, not the movie. I don't have that kind of power. Yet. One day, though...) and I like it. It should do well, unless all the good stuff is in the trailer.
Yeah, will be great. But considering how good the Half Blood Prince book was, and how much of a soap opera the Movie was, my expectations of this one have lowered slightly.
Never before Half Blood Prince have I walked out of a Harry Potter screening and said "Well that was a let down..."
