Rin Going to Japan Again...
Well, once again I'll be heading to the land of the rising sun for the 3rd year in a row. I'll be in Japan from August 2nd to August 18th. Main reason is pretty much the same reason I go every year during August, Comiket or also known as Comic Market. Also another reason is that I like to explore Japan which I haven't finished yet. There are still a ton of places I haven't been to and I plan on going to some of those places this year. Some places include Kamakura, Enoshima and other places I have yet to think about...
If anyone got any good places that you think I should go, I would love to know!!!

Have you ever been to Ryogoku? It is famous for the town of sumo,so there are "Sumo Hall"（Ryogoku Kokugikan）,"Edo-Tokyo museum",and so on. It takes about only 5 minutes by train from Akihabara. I hope you'll enjoy both modern part of Japan in Akihabara and that of traditional in Ryogoku.

Seems like you already been to Kyoto, otherwise that would have been my advice :) Personally I prefer Kyoto over Tokyo because Kyoto have so many nice old cultural areas but still have a real city core for shopping etc. Although, Kyoto does not have a Super Potato store :( I guess you have been there in Akihabara? Best retro store ever! :D

Just got back from my 4th trip last month and am already to go again next year.LOL. We've been to many of the same places from your pics but did you go to Osaka as well as Kyoto? Kamakura is a small version of Kyoto so if you like temples, its a great place. Yokohama is on the same line as Kamakura but I advise you to do them on separate days. Yokohama is a lot of fun and you can go to the Manyo Club hot springs like Danny did. There's also the Oedo Onsen in Odaiba which is a must for me every year.
Yup, been to Osaka and Kyoto last year.
I like to explore temples and am planning to go to Kamakura this year due to the fact it's close and takes only an hour to get there...
Maybe I'll go to the Oedo Onsen but not sure about Yokohama...I'll see...
Forgot to mention that if you like to buy Manga, go to as many Book-Off stores as you can find because they have pre-owned manga in excellent condition for 105 yen each. Amazing!

Me and my friends plan to go to Comiket next year (as part of a three-week visit). It'll be our 2nd visit to Japan, so we want to be a bit more adventurous. :D We'll be going on the figure sale day.
Currently planning for a 1 month trip to Japan for next year. A couple of my friends want to go to Comiket 80 and so do I. Maybe we can meet up for next year!!!

Cool, but you know, you have to change at Comiket as they don't allow people to wear their cosplay there. Also, no props are allowed...

One more thing...if you are planning to line up in the morning for Comiket...suggest you go with my group. The more people there is, the more fun it'll be. I'll be lining up from around 1AM in the morning...
Haha, that would be fun. I doubt I would manage 1AM for all three days though.

Rin, why not make a post for a Figure.FM meetup or something before Comiket and another at Comiket (outside) when its already early august .. maybe can gather more ..
I might do that!!! Meeting place first is mostly at Akihabara to plan and stuff...then next day is Comiket...
