First Figure Shoot! Video and Pictures - Gundams, PVCs, Figmas, and Revoltechs
Here's my first figure shoot. Probably a bit excessive, but I just got my first and new camera! A Fujifilm Finepix S1800. ^^ From what I have read, and from what I have used of it so far, the camera seems to be a fantastic entry level camera. I'm very happy with it so far, so issues. It seems to be the ideal weight, takes nice pictures, and has a good zoom with tons of options.
This photo shoot features a variety of different figures, ranging from Gundam models, to Eva Revoltech, to my first PVC figure, to a Haruhi Figma.
I streamlined the numbers of pictures and tried to pick what I thought were the best ones. If you would like to see them all, watch the youtube video below.
Enjoy, and please leave any feedback. It is much appreciated.

Preparing for the shoot!

Alvis Hamilton from Last Exile. Got her with the limited edition box set for the series really cheap!

Haruhi Figma by Max Factory

Rindou Rina from Pastel Chime Continue by Alter

My favorite shot

Revoltech Eva-01 Test Type Series No. 004

Doing his groove thing

Gundam Exia 1/100 NG (no grade) Gunpla

Unofficially my first Gunpla, built in May 2009

It was built in a rush, but my current and future Gunpla are being built with love

Current Gunpla in Progress - RX-78-2 O.Y.W. 0079 1/100 MG

Somehow reminds me of a vuvuzela...xD
Haha yes! I see what you mean. ;)
I love this figure ^-^
Me too! ^^ I had never heard of the game before ordering the figure and never seen her, so she mustn't be too popular! However, I am new to figures and relatively out of the loop. :p
Hey nice shoot, fujifilm finepix's work great for point and shoots, not to mention their pretty cheap ^^ However you did go over excessive on the pictures, I'd suggest uploading only the best poses and best pictures(some were blurry that were unnecessary) that you think are good. There was too many pictures to scroll through to enjoy them so just a little tip next time ^^' (however you can take a billion pictures for the actual shoot, I'm just talking about the ones you want to upload)
Better lighting would help some pictures flush out the noise, and maybe a tripod(or something to keep steady) to limit blurry pictures. Nice starter collection though, keep buying them ^^
Thank you so much for the suggestions. :)
I am going to pick up a smaller tripod this weekend actually, I have very shaky hands. ><
I can't feel my legs xD
After I saw Exia, I didn't believe you when you said you're building your current gunpla with love. Looking great so far. ^ ^
Thank you very much! I knew very little about gunpla when I built my Exia and was in a rush to see the finished product. However, I now know it is about the time and enjoyment of building that I enjoy from gunpla. :)
I had a friend that did the same, except I don't think he learned from his mistake...>.<
Keep up the good work! ^ ^
