FigureFM bug - PlayArts Bayonetta Picture review

Posted by Gon 29point55 [www]

EDIT: Damn. I spent an hour filling up this post with my review, and not a single word appeared after I pressed SAVE.... I'm not in the mood to rewrite the review. I'm very annoyed by what just happened.

So as the titles says, this post will be dedicated to me trying to convince the Bayonetta fans out there to buy this figure. XD There are so many people bringing the figure down, and I must say I was one of them. But due to the character, I knew I just had to get it no matter how much I loathe the PlayArts line... and damn, spending 5,000 Yen on a PlayArts figure turned out to be A-W-E-S-O-M-E...

    well, i'm not too picky on manufacturers. i always look at how well made the figures are before i can decide on buying them. as well as if i can afford them. affordable and well-made that is^^

      I'm not picky on manufacturers neither, but seeing previous products, it kinda makes you have an idea of how bad or well-made the following figures from the same manufacturer will be.

    Bayonetta looks so manly.

    Considering that she's an action figure, 5000 yen seems a bit pricey. But I think the details poured onto the figure is well worth it. I'm not a Bayonetta fan though, so it's easy for me to pass ^^;

    Sorry, but I'm still not convinced. If anything, all these close-up shots in various poses have just confirmed that the joint system used for this figure just doesn't work for me at all and convinced me 100% not to buy this figure. ^^;

    The proportions aren't quite right either, but some of the detailing looks pretty nice so I can see how this would appeal to people who are more forgiving of the joints. Even still, 5000 yen seems a bit much. But you're the one who's bought it here and you're happy, which is all that matters in this case.

        I agree that proportions are a bit off. I stated that in the words I added to this post before the server failed. XD

        She lacks the hourglass body-figure, and instead gained a flat body.

          hourglass? she looks exactly the same in the cover niao '____' or the cover art is different from the game's proportion?

    I think they did a pretty good job with the head and guns... but the joints kinda ruin it for me. The torso joint reminds me of a tacky bra strap in the back. IMO it would have been better just to have a solid torso even though it'd limit posing.

    Thanks for taking the photos tho! Great to see it up close.

      You're welcome! I too was looking for close-up photos before I decided on buying this figure... so I guess I owe it to those who're still wondering whether or not to get the figure. ^___^
