Wed 2009/08/19 16:47 JST
Gerwalk Mode from Variable Fighters also called Chicken Walker. So this is the photoshot of VF-25G.

grassing ?

"Where Am I..??"

I'm in a train....!

Snipping practice

"Target on spot sir!"

Oh my... Megan Fox is so hawt.

my friend just bought this.
The shop keeper is very friendly (even his face kinda scarry XD)
Other complete pictures can be found at my blog

I thought Chicken Walker is trademarked as a nickname for All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) from Star Wars Saga? X3
Eh, really. I didn't knew that.
I read at Macross forum, and someone said about Gerwalk mode is chicken walker. The pose it just like a chicken, pecking food on ground and flaping it wings.
The Star Wars version got its name for the way it walks. ^^ You can search it up if you don't know what I'm referring to.
Wow, on the train even... I'd never be brave enough to pull that off. (^.^)
theyr all looking lol
Just use MYOB mode, everything should be alright :D
MYOB what's that? But do you have problems with children when taking the photoshoot?
Because I see some children with *evil grin looking at your VF-25
"Mind Your Own Business" XD
Most children will staring at the VF-25 but do nothing (because I have a scary face when in Otaku mode..?)
The trick is, try not to smile at them (make a serious face instead, demonic-evil-grin from you would be a plus) when you do the photoshoots. After you finished and packing up, then you may smile, hahaha...
You've done it pretty fast enough~
And that's a pretty real bravery you got there, bringing out a model kit instead of an articulated figure....
I'd always be scared to bring any of my plamo out, because they could fell off at anytime, and they're pretty fragile...
But still, it must be a very fun experience, to be able to take those in public~
The most that I can bring out recently is Xan, since the Super galaxy Gurren Lagann is too huge to be brought through the pocket...
Anyway, those people in the train seems to be pretty curious about what are you doing XD
People in kodomut's public pics seems just to try to ignore him, only seen people gigling around watching him taking pics of his nendos, it seems.
Thanks.
I use CD case to carry my model kit:

Yes indeed fun.
The supervisor of the gardener at the Mall back yard staring my VF-25G very serious, it seems he is interested but too shy to ask questions.
Also, the shopkeeper at where my friend buy a PDA actually an Otaku too.
He came and ask me permission to take the VF-25 pics, and his friend (the one who holding PDA at the last pic) said this: "Hey, I never thought you like this kind of stuff!" And he replied: "Yeah, I love this kind of robots actually."
People in train never see someone bring a toy robot, posing on the floor and take couple of a pics with compact camera. Hehehehe...
For Kodomut case, people probably thinking if he is a Photographer or a Reporter. It easy to get that kind of impression if you bring SLR camera as your weapon, not a pocket camera like mine XD
well i have bad experience with slr.....
wow!!! slr, u 're a pro!! no photography allowed for you
but sir i just want to take a pic of this nendro using this area as background , and still no.....
makes me goes zzzzz
That's suck.... >.<
Where did you got that "NO photograph" ? I can use it as reference.
in mall, even in a park...[well this is the worst one, the officer asked me for payment just wew and i and my friends go to another place]
@zwei do it with a lot of people [friends] people don't think you freaks, they will think ahhh a group of freaks just kidding
people will respect you more and think you guys a hobby club they will not think all of you freaks, some of them may ask to take a pic of them with your figure
i have experience that
Also happens in some of my days back then.
Bad thought comes first, no reasons allowed =.="
Oooh, a CD case~
I don't have something like that to use...
My CD cas is circle-shaped, and a pretty small one if you close it ><
Well, I'd ask that gardener if he really is interested XD
Well, sometimes, you can't expect who's the real otaku.
My friend told me that his lecturer also a collector of figures!
He even became a dealer of some figures!
I'm really surprised that there's a lecturer like that!
Makes me a little bit jealous that he have such a cool lecturer XD
The local difference. Well, this is also one of my reasons why I'd choose not to take pictures in between too many people, because they'd think I'm a freak or so.
It's not that kind of thought that stops me, it's about what will people think about our kind that makes me worried...
I'm afraid they'll stay away from our kind by showing off something like that, even though some of them would come over to ask things or talking about these, interested or not.
Actually, I do have the same worry.
But I decide to go on, with some tactic.
When I preparing the model kit, I always showing like I'm a choreographer. Also before I take the pics, I always like in thinking pose, you know, like arts admirer who came to the museum and staring at the painting XD
With this, I can show them if I'm not some kinda geek. Also, I try not to focused on the model kit, I tend to look around like I want to do a site hunting, and if I meet other people eyes, I smile. And if they near me, I show them "my God I can't believe it I'm doing this" smile. They mostly will just smile and even laugh with me.
Where did you get this valkyrie?
is it a chogokin?
I'm trying to find a transformable valkyrie that isn't a chogokin because of the costs, are there any?
"whoaahhhh..." <== i really make that sound and jumped a lil' bit from my comfy chair when i see that picture you took on the KRL AC train ^^;
That would took alot of courage to pull that kind of act.. my highest salute to you, amigo! (^^)b
