Huge box of goodies!

Posted by balldylox

Yesterday was a great day for me. A friend had just gone to one of those Self Storage places and bought 2 units at auction. Since nobody knows what's inside, it's kind of a gamble. But he got lucky and got a boat and trailer fully equipped for $200! He also got another unit that was packed with all sorts of things. And he found one box in there that had stuff in it that he did not want. He called me and said come over and look at this stuff and see if it's any good. I get there and to my utter amazement, I get a box full of this.....

Huge box of goodies!

Yeah, all of this in that one box. I freaked out. Sooo many cool things!

Huge box of goodies!

All the Eva figures are gashapons. The tall Mizuho from Please teacher is a coldcast statue. VERY heavy.

Huge box of goodies!

All the boxes to the left are Please Twins! gashapons and only one box was open. All the others are still sealed. And my friend gave this to me for FREE!! I couldn't believe the luck.

      Hey! Another SC native, nice! I live in Charleston but this auction was over in Mount Pleasant, a few miles north of me. Mt. P. is the richer area around here so my buddy thought he could get better stuff by hitting that area. He was right! :) I'm still stunned he gave it to me for nothing. He said he had no use for it and knew I had similar things already.

        I'm loving that Good Smile Saber Get, and the Eva trading figures. You're so lucky. ;_;

          Thanks! I have family in Anderson so I go up that way a few times a year. CofC is a great place to go, plenty of things to do downtown. And yes, Saber is my fave too with the yellow sweatered Mizuho a close second.

      That was the first thing that I thought too. WHY would you keep these in a storage place with no climate control? But I'm sure glad they did... ;)

        The boxes look good despite that fact they were in such storage. They would of warped in local weather. X(

    Great loot,congrats!
    But are you sure some of them aren't bootleged?
    Like Tamaki Kousaka in black bikini or the girl on her left side?
    Because they are a little bit "shiny" to be the original ones...

      I suspect that Tamaki is indeed a bootleg but the other girl ( from Please Teacher ) is the real deal. I think most of the shiny look is caused by my very bright lighting setup. It tends to do that sometimes at certain angles.
