      1 is bright enough

        I was trying to imagine what an impression 5 LED's would make.
        How about those small LED's that one finds on Motherboards?
        One could mix up a variety of colors.
        Why aren't you using any resistors?

          no resistors are needed since USB is 5 volts and 2 5mm lEDs (3 volts each) is enough to not get burned out by the current

    I'm kinda lost with your blue angle wide and wide angle blue? Is that some sort of code as to which wire to connect Drossel to? because i'm a little confused.
    But apart from that, very nice converstion i'll have to try this myself, But I also worry that the next connector won't fit back due to wires?

    Thanks for the guide, keep up the nice work.

      That is my for me to differentiate which wire is (+) because I could only find my red wire at the start and needed some note to tell me which was the (+) and (-). ^^

      Also, there is more than enough space for the wire to be inside the head. The space inside is quite big so no worries about the connector not being able to go back. If you find that 2 LEDs takes up too much space, you can also use 1 if the LED is bright enough!

    I wonder if Light Unit from PG Red Frame, MG Exia or 1/100 00 Gundam can fit into Ojou's head... That way there's no need for cables as the Light Unit work alone... ^_^ :D

    And so the creative Kodomut strikes again! I wasn't expecting anyone to mod Figma Drossel to light up.
    Great job! I never expected the eyes to be hollow from the inside.

    Nice mod.

    So.. its powered through USB then? You have to keep her close to the computer so that she can light up?

    COOL!
    I suggest you to add a resistor, because your power source came from USB, not a batteries.
    I forgot how to calculate the ohm value of the resistor thought >.<

      @Kodomut
      Recipe on what i am saying:
      2 LEDs (what you stated or Rice type LED 1 pc (commonly used in christmas lights) and SR44 battery ^_^
      I'm pretty sure you can get the picture of what i might do with it.

    Is there enough space left to put in a mini-sound chip? It wont make an impact on photography but I think it'll be damn cool if she could make her own BMG. =D

    Makes me want to own Drossel more!
    But the store didn't stock it up for a long time, I wonder what are they doing -.-"
    Maybe I should order it online, but if there's any 'accidents'....

      I buy online all the time. I place 1-3 orders for things every week.
      No accidents. Go for it.
      You might get used to the shopping experience though.

        Since then I got pretty scared to order online...

    Seems relatively simple...may try that with my own. But probably not. ^^; Too afraid to mess with her, especially after having my first figma casualty last night (Nanoha's hair snapped off). Maybe when I get around to getting a second one.

    Haven't fiddled with wires and electronics since high school though, so I'm more than a bit rusty. And I hear via Twitter that you're going for a wireless power source? Do update us. ^^;
