Let talk about High school of Dead(Spoiler Alert)
Mon 2010/07/05 22:08 JST
Well, I do got feeling the Author play too much Left 4 dead and watch all another zombie apocalyptic movie(It ever got 28 days later soundtrack in them!!!) (Or maybe I just play too much L4D and watch too much, who know!)
What do you think about it then? (Ah, a little Fan service in them is nice touch though)

Where are you touching!!!

It was unexpected for me. I didn't expect it to be this good. Didn't really care about this show but I see myself going to see how this series will turn out. The first ep reminds me a lot of other zombie horror movies and games with its face pace action. Despite the action, they also managed to put in enough background information of some of the main characters, their feeling, and some pantsu without disrupting the experience. I say thumb up for this series.
To summary you like it then, (Above exception, right)
Thumbs up!
But I'll probably getting nightmares tonite... >,< Very very graphic...
Well how about go watch some Moe Anime to forget it then. ^w^ Sweet Dream then(if morning then ,Good Morning)
watch mitsudomoe
^w^ good for you, Good Night then
I quote "When do I got feeling the Author play too much Left 4 dead and watch all another zombie apocalyptic movie(It ever got 28 days later soundtrack in them!!!)

As a reader of the said title the story is somewhat original in it's own way. In the manga, up until on the latest information, there is no clear evidence as to why such virus or phenomena struck their city. Second is that
---- WARNING SPOILERS ----
The manga focuses on the children who are aiming to see the status of their immediate family members ( father, mother etc ). Plus add the love triangle of the characters involved plus a Gun Otaku who never ceases to amaze the readers with his vast knowledge and kick-ass stunts. Along the way each character's background will slowly be revealed as they traverse the city and handling the fear bestowed upon them that they would either die before they reach the goal or if they do get a chance to reach their goal, will they get a chance to be rewarded accordingly and justly.
I'd safely say that this series definitely stands on it's own for it's unique version of a zombie apocalyptic genre mixing it with some high school zombie game drama.
Please I don't asked for a Quote, I just simply ask for you like it or not? And yes!!! I know it a mix of high school and zombie drama but maybe I watch too many of those so everything is predictable(for me).
BUT!!!!, I do like it, Is it clear enough!!!!?????
Indeed, I'm not a fan of zombie horror at all but I love the HotD manga because of its unique spin on it, really focusing on how the characters are trying to survive in this apocalyptic world where society and daily comfort has crumbled down and how it affects them.
Not only that social and practical aspect is present, but also how their relationship to each other and other survivors evolves as well as their own minds. Take for instance the indications Saeko is -and always has been- a sadist and Takashi might slowly becoming mad with destructive bloodlust.
I liked the manga a lot, so of course I had to watch the first episode right away :)
It's just what I expected, a violent zombie action-drama with an occasional pantyshot (like!). If the anime follows the manga, it will soon develop a bit and become more interesting with the new characters which will be added to the mix. I won't go into further detail to avoid spoilers, but the typical drama parts of a zombie theme will most likely also be emphasized more in the following episodes.
I am definitely going to watch the full series!
I totally agree, I am definitely going to watch the full series, Also
Too much Fan Serive IMO... but innovative I'll give them that.
Well, the original manga artist is better known for his H doujinshi so this level of service is tame by his usual standards.
"Inazuma" hehehehe...
generic characters...but who cares this shows got zombies.
Who cares about the generic characters ? Fan service ! lol EIther way, I havent seen anything new lately, so I think I will be following this series for the meant time.
It's good but kinda scary at the same time. SO much bloooood and screams. Such a fine pair of boobies got eaten right at the beginning, what a waste!
I finally saw the fan sub of "High school of the Dead", and all I can say is that I was just amazed! It was a lot better than I thought and the fan service did not bother me. It was not as bad as "Agent AIka" fan service (Remember, that one had panty shots or something going on close to every 30 seconds). The story seems solid, the artwork is amazing in the anime. And now... I can only hope it will come to the US on DVD... and then maybe the Manga, too! <.< I wanna see more!
Yea ! Blu-ray release for NA please !
Wow just went to watch the 1st ep as soon as I saw this post ^^ Never read the manga but I heard it was really good, as far as the 1st ep. goes, wow this thing looks killer ^^' Sent chills down my spine when people were getting attacked and pantsu shots mix it up a bit and brighten the day ^^ 1st anime where I actually got a little scared too so that's a good thing.
However the acting part is a little dramatic "WTF are you still standing there! RUN!!" but the main character seems to have his wits so it might turn out good as far as characters go. But all in all the story/plot is something you don't find very often in anime and the characters and action are great so I'll definitely keep watching the series ^^
I liked the first episode, but as a girl, it had a bit too much fan-service for me. XD
Loved the first episode, it was epic! Hope they keep this level up and stay true to the manga as they are now.
I like the manga, haven't yet seen the first episode of this yet. :D
HOTD is one of the only mmaga's that has zombies that we see from movies by Romero. :D
Hmmm,
it's kinda weird, they just started continuing the manga this year once the
the anime version was on the making.... guess the manga wont be finishing yet...
and YES!!!!!!!
i sure DAMN LIKE IT ALOT!
reminds me of those live Japanese zombie killing movies...(including pantsu)
5 STARS for this Awesome Echhi Anime!
though i hope its Uncensored.... >_<
need to see more EP to know if I really like it. So far EP 1 was very action packed so a yes for now.
Have to say that the first episode was good, even with the fanservice (which I don't object too). Looking forward to seeing more of the series now.
I won't watch the anime version till it ends though I'd like to of course ^^.
I'm much more into the manga but I can't deny that seeing Saya "alive" is very stimulating huhuhu.
Just to let you know, the manga actually started years before L4D 1 came out.
Good to know, L4D or not, I still like it(When I watch first ep., I had not read the Manga)
Watching it now, omg, fan service. Service serivesuu~~!
hmm, excited. I hope the manga would now pick up pace. I've beem waiting months for a new chapter. >_>
which is better, the anime or the manga?
They both are good, waiting for next season
