High School of the Dead Ep 01

Just saw the first episode of High School of the Dead and it's AWESOME! I was gripping the hem of my tank top the whole time because of them zombies! Yeah, I don't mind if you call me a sissy girl but I will most definitely watch this series from start to finish!
I'm a huge fan of the manga so I was very pleased when I seen the first episode. The blood and gore was perfectly. All the screaming fit so well with the tune of the anime. It was just really well done overall. This definitely isn't for the faint of heart and definitely not for kids.
Zombie+ Sharp objects+ Anime babes in sailor fuku + Gore= HOTD

Looked cool up to 0:43 then it was nothing but fanservice and mouth movement.
Anyway, I watched it, liked it but I could easily do without the fanservice, felt there was too much actually. Maybe that's just me being a girl? I'm waiting for a true zombie anime that's completely serious and extremely scary, or perhaps I should just stick to the video games ^^;
True about the in-your-face pantsu shots, but I didn't mind it. :) I don't like love triangles so it's a plus that the other guy had his head whacked off.
Forgot to mention it was still fun to watch and the suspenseful parts will keep me watching ^^;;;
The manga, and hence the anime artwork, is drawn by an H-artist. Unless scenes get removed, there will be scenes that are far worse than a panty shot. I won't get into specific details as I don't like spoiling, but fanservice shouldn't be on peoples minds as it'll get worse.
That is also why every single woman you see has balloons on her chest.
Ah, true, balloons... I wonder if they artist loves balloons.
It seemed great for a first episode. I really like the concept of this anime and it's on my watch list for summer!!
im not that into ecchi genre but this one is exceptable..i luv blood n gore!! just like tenjou tenge..or mayb way too better.. bet guin to watch this till the end..
Watched the first episode just about an hour ago and found it on my watch list for sure. The fan service part is a bit much but it doesn't really get in the way much, yet. For a 80% serious zombie Anime I'm finding it pretty interesting.
Just finished watching it the other night and I'd say its awesome! zombies & pantsu all around :3
Love the 1st episode. While the fan service parts are a bit excessive, it doesn't hinder me from enjoying the anime.
I'm watching it because it resembles in many ways to one of my favorite PC games Left 4 Dead 2.

Agreed. I really liked the first episode. All the fan service = :] Ill most likely be watching this through to the end. Rei Miyamoto = win !

Love the 1st ep! Any good zombie flick would give me the chills and this one does :D I like the fanservice as it gives a few moments to recoup! if it was endless suspense I'd freak out after a while ^_^;
What about showing pants and zombies munching at the same time? :D It happened.
Zombies would trump that one in my book :D
I just love Madhouse. But best part is how they show how people change. The BFF scene or where he has to kill his best friend all good reactions. Looking forward to what they can do in the future to portrait the changes when humans lose the safety and go bad .

But seriously, the level ore stupidity the characters have is astounding. Especially the girl....I can't remember her name though.

Maybe if the K-On girls play for them zombies the latter would be happy and stop eating people. :D
I like it so far. At first I didn't like the character design and stlye, but after the first episode I kinda like it!
