KyoAni's Exclusive Nagato Yuki Figure

Kyoto Animation just announced their own exclusive figure of movie version Nagato.
The release date has not been announced yet. I am assuming they will let us know/and take pre-order at the same time when they reveal colored sample of figure. (This is based what they did with K-On! figures)
This figure will be sold at KyoAni online shop.
P.S. GSC announced re-release of Nendoroid Kaito.
figure looks great! although I'm not a big fan of Nagato
KyoAni sure burns up people's wallets. The complete Blu-ray box for 38000 yen (with all 28 episodes, Gekisou and Gensou concerts, plus more extras) is set for release in October. I checked Mika-tan's blog and was really surprised at the re-release info. I hope I get a chance to grab it this time then.

Sadly yes. Chances are, you are only able to get it through a proxy without it coming with an over the top price tag.
Hmm, I've never used Tokyo Hunter before, but people seem to be able to get exclusives through him -- something to think about I guess. Any advice?
Lol. Sorry I've never used a proxy before either but from the looks of it Tokyo Hunter is a pretty good one. I'm sure there are other more experienced people on figure.fm that could help you.
tokyo hunter will charge you for the retail price of the figure, and around 500yen for domestic shipping and extra 1000'ish yen for his service. When figure releases, he will askfor you to pay for shipping (EMS) and there you have it. easiest and safest way :)
oh and you must pay in advance except for the international shipping.

I dunno where you get the 1000'ish from but when I pre-ordered this figure from Tokyo Hunter it was 8,000 yen for the figure and 3,000 yen which includes his service and domestic shipping. Is something wrong here or is he overcharging me?
my mistake. it's usually 1000 service fee + 500 domestic shipping fee for smaller (cheaper) figure like nendoroid/figma.
everyone agrees that ordering from him is expensive but we can't tell for sure if he is over charging on his fees or not. I don't know if he set up his fees according to his own liking or not, but his fee rates have quite a range (approx. 15%-50%), 50% rate usually being smaller figures like nendoroid (3000yen x 0.5 = 1500yen fee).
as long as you're okay with his fees, and pre-ordering exclusives from him is cheaper than using other proxy service, then that should be good enough. it's not like we can ask him "Are you over charging me?" and get a honest answer lol
but anyways, I don't think he over charged you.

Been a Yuki fan since "Mysterique Sign", and this is going to be among the first for my figurine collection.
My bad, "release" isn't the word I'm looking for. "Announcement for pre-order" is more like it.
