AIr TV Blu-Ray Edition

Taking a break from continuum shift since Score attack made me mad lol. Well anyways, Just thought Id share my thoughts on the Blu-Ray release of Air. I happened to buy this beautiful box set awhile ago, and even though it does not have English subs, (ive seen the anime enough to understand whats going on ^^) it is probably one of my most treasured purchases in terms of anime. Even though its max resolution is only at 1080i, this is still one of the most gorgeous looking series on blu-ray. The stunning visuals, the characters, the music and especially the story all make this probably one of the best Blu-Rays to own. I just finished watching the first episode again, and I just wanted to share how gorgeous the presentation is on this particular series.
Not sure if I uploaded the video correctly, so itll take a few tries haha
I also would have taken a picture of the Box, but my camera died. So instead, I just put up a link to one of the special extended openings that came with the Blu-Ray release. Ill be sure to take a picture of the box set when I post up the rest of my loot that should be coming in a couple of days.

Just ordered the DVDs since I don't have a blu-ray player^^
Time to get a ps3 ! Two birds with one stone :]
I remember when this set got released and saw that preview video. I wanted it so much, then I saw the price and that dream died right there. At the very least I got myself the American DVD set.
Thats all that really matters. As long as you can see it ! I happened to stumble upon this at the same time as my birthday so I had some money to spare. Otherwise, I wouldnt be able to afford it. But let me tell you, its worth every penny !
Will this version make me cry again? :3
It sure will. I think the beauty of the ambiance might contribute to that as well.
I almost bought the Air movie at the Funimation booth at AX. I looked long and hard at it. It was only $10 so that really help to fuel the impulse. But there was one thing that held me back the entire time. I don't have the heart. I cried too much.
Agreed. I think Air was the saddest series Ive ever seen. Still awesome in all its respect though.
Studio KEY is good at making people cry :3
