Anyone else planning on going to see Minorin?

as much as I would like to hear her sing Paradise Lost, October = college so nope~
OMGGGGG!!! >:O I CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYES SHE'S REALLY COMING TO NEW YORK WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!! >:D
I ONLY DREAM OF THIS NEWS AND ITS ACTUALLY HAPPENING, BTW I LIVE LIKE 30MINS AWAY FROM THE CONVENTION HEHE
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS AWESOME NEWS !!!
Tempted to go. I can probably find the time but never went to a major con before so I'm a bit hesitant ~~
If ur coming to New York for the con then I'll hang out with u so u won't get lost :)
Ah, I won't get lost. I lived in NYC for half my life before I moved to Philly. Just none of my friends are avid anime fans so going by myself would feel a bit awkward. XD
I can tell you so much has happened last year, the Javits Center has really bad phone reception. Most people tell me they either get no signal or just 1 bar if they're inside the Javits Center. So half of the time I get lost once I get split up with my friends. There were so many people and so much crazy crowds and so much noise that I can barely hear myself talking, haha that's how wild these things get ^^;; . So i suggest you have someone to hang with and know where and when to meet up. I was part of a small Anime club group last year to early this year but I haven't went there for a while ever since I took on a full time job early this year. Good thing I got there contact info on fb so I can hang with them when these events come. You're always welcome to hang around us too. ;)
Ya, that did be great. Need someone to show me how to get the autographs or where to stand in line. XD
If you want to get autographs you're really need to be extra hardcore and you gotta be there extra early as free autograph tickets are limited to like maybe less than 100 ppl or the only other way to get autographs is to buy the VIP Pass which is like limited to 200 people.
Btw to get the free autograph tickets you must line up just for the little paper that allows you to get in. Then you have to line up again for the panel.
OK, so it is really worth it to buy the VIP ticket.
Ya, I'm also wondering if it's worth it.
Oh, they have various VIP packages. Which one is the best one to get?
http://www.newyorkcomiccon.com/en/NYAF/Tickets/VIP-Tickets/
well if ur gonna cosplay a lot and buy loads of things from the dealer's room then you should go with the "Special Access Package" but that doesn't guarantee a seat to Minorin's LIVE concert and also doesn't seal the deal for the autograph. But if you're heck rich and all you should go all out and buy the $300 "IGN Theater Package" which enables you to get first access to all special privileges to NYAF and NYCC ^_^
Ya, none of the packages this year has guarantee autograph tickets which is one of my priority besides the concert and Disappearance screening.
hmm...I just realized they don't guarantee autographs this year but last year the total package deal included autographs from the guest of honors, all concerts, all shows and many more things including some free goodies and a NYAF T-shirt and all that mighty goodness for only $200. But I think the reason they offered less for the packages is because it's the first time they merged Comic Con with Anime Fest in which you get a whole lot more if you're interested in both worlds. But in 3 days how can anyone be able to take full advantage of both cons, they should really expand it to a week at least ^^;;
Yes, the only things I need to be guaranteed is getting into the concert and and autograph from Minorin.
YES! Got my Minorin VIP ticket. Now, I need to buy an airline ticket and get a hotel room.
looks like we're the only 2 confirmed people that got the VIP Minorin package on figurefm. Hey Slick if you use msn you can add me to your list so we can still in touch when the convention comes around.
Hey Vin did you purchase your Minorin ticket yet? and also do you use msn messenger? if you can can add me up. :)
Got the regular weekend pass. No guarantee autograph was the deal breaker for me. XD Well that and I have a budget I gotta keep. ~~
Well I heard that you can still attend the concert but you probably gotta wait in long lines if you want to see the show. If you need to contact me I use MSN, Aim, Facebook, and email. Have you booked any hotels yet?
Ya, though I wonder how big or long those lines are gonna get. Guess they will post up the schedule once it get nearer to the date? Don't need to book a hotel since I can stay at a family friend place.
I'm not sure how long the line to Minorin's concert is but I bet it'll be filled up pretty fast. The Masquerade line is pretty popular and it's the longest line i have ever seen. It's so popular that they filled up the main room and had to use another big room and show the whole thing on the projector lol. I'm glad you have found a place to stay coz hotels in NYC are hella expensive D:
lucky for NY fans...and Oct ..benkyou..kuso!! i got school...
gomen ne Minorin >_<
Unfortunately this is the one and only event that happens once a year that keeps us fans in New York from pulling our hair out from our daily boring lives.
Sorry for the caps, I couldn't help but control myself ^^;;
Yes, that is how I felt when I saw the news yesterday. Will finally be able to see her LIVE!
wow... . that some good news... .
I'm nervous and excited to meet her at the same time! XD
I will probably forget all the Japanese I have learned when I meet her.
Already know what I want her to sign… her photo book ‘Crescendo.’
I don't really have any of her photo books but I do have lots of artbooks and magazines and figures relating to Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu which I hope she will sign them all :D
They will probably put a limit on what she can sign.
It would be funny if I had a Yuki DD with me and brought it to her signing panel and have her sign the arm since DD parts are easily replaceable hehe ;)
btw are u planning to buy the Minori Chihara Concert and Masquerade Experience special package or just the normal ticket? it's only limited to the first 200 fans and it's on sale during Thursday noon time ...sigh I got work during that time T.T I hope there is still 1 remaining by the time I get home :3
Yes, I plan on buying the concert and masquerade special package.
Does the VIP ticket count also as a weekend pass?
Yes, VIP ticket counts as a weekend pass.
I think we should start our very own figure.fm convention meetup for NYAF !
Agreed!
Yup!!
LUCKY >_<
dang slick, your going to make the trip to new york eh ? I wish I could make it. I think she is probably one of the most beautiful, if not thee most, of seiyus/idols.
Gotta give it up to Bandai. First they get Konishi for AX and now her for NYAF. And a special screening for the movie too, which is just awesome, because let me tell you, from what I seen at AX, these kinds of special movie screens are completely awesome. The TTGL movie screens at AX were so intense. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in the room broke out into the Hare Hare Yukai together.
Anyways, have fun man!
There are only 2 seiyuu who I would travel to see perform, Minorin and Nana Mizuki.
Definitely agree with you on her being one of the most beautiful seiyuus/idols out there. There are a couple of seiyuus that I am dieing to see, and Minori is one of them ^_^
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I CAN'T GO DUE TO SCHOOL. LIFE HATES MEEEE. ToT Does anybody want to get me an autograph? Please? Pretty please??? T______T Everything good happens when I'M NOT THERE.
I know. I be in the same boat.
This is one of the reasons I hate being in high school right now. If I were say, 5 years older, things would be better. In this case anyway.
>_< I can't go because of school. I am dieing to meet Minori in person but I have to go to college and unfortunately, I am pretty broke at the moment. I hope there will be another chance in the future to meet her. To all those that will be going to see her, please bring back pictures ^_^
VAMPS and Puffy AmiYumi are going to be at NYAF too! I really want to go, but it's during the school year...
I have inquired about the autograph situation at the NYAF/NYCC BLOG? When I get a response, I will post it here in the comments.
They updated the VIP package description. Still nothing on guarantee autograph ticket though.
Yes, it looks like the Minorin concert package is the same as the ‘regular’ VIP package, except you get the concert and masquerade.
Feel too lazy and depressed to make a legit post.

Freedom Dreamer official website is out.
Have you preordered yours yet?
Yes, pre-ordered Freedom Dreamer last month.
She will probably be performing it at NYAF.
I totally think that missing 1 day of school ain't gonna kill nobody and for those who is passionate like me would loose a job in order to see her T_T well especially if it's a crappy job ^^;; ..I can always find another job within a month but getting to see Minorin will be pretty slim for me if I miss this opportunity! >:D
Not if you live in Chicago or some other city not close to New York. Sigh. My only hope now is if she could come to ACen sometime in the near future. Or I could just move to Japan after college.
Come on, nendoxnerd, Chicago is not that far from NYC.
I am flying in from San Francisco to see her!
Yea but I'm still a high school student! D: I would totally fly if I had the money...
I live in Ohio and I really can't afford it right now >_< I would totally do it, if I had some cash. I am sure another opportunity will come along in the future ^^*
