Need help adopting.

So I'm currently in Tokyo and am probably going to adopt before going back home.
Which of the VOLKS showrooms do you recommend for adopting, and what exactly is Tenshi-no-sumika?
Probably also worthy noting that I plan to custom a dollfie and not just buy the image character ones.
Are there any places that sell nice custom heads or other accessories? (Not a fan of the aoi/yukino faces)
I'm in Tokyo right now so any recommendations from frequents or locals would be really appreciated.
Please also make recommendations on what I should buy (i.e. stand, stuff to stick eyes, dresses any other useful accessories)

I'd wait just a little bit longer and get Mari. She's adorable.
pictures please!
when is she coming out?
thanks for the recommendation.
Can see Mari here, as well as other DDs scheduled for Osaka 6

I believe the event is August 1st. Think you need to get one of the guidebooks if you plan to be at the event though.
Tenshi-no-Sumika basically what are the Volks Showrooms are called. There are other stores like Tenshi-no-Sato in Kyoto. Truthfully I would just recommend going to all of them. There are a ton in the Toyko area and I am sure you can get to most of them within a day.
As for adopting, last time I traveled to Japan and went to the Volks store in Akiba, they only had Aoi, Yukino, and Yui for sale. Their clothes selection was rather small which is why I recommend scouting other stores. Also you should look for other brands that make Dollfie clothing like Azone just know that DDs are 60 cm in height and are 1/3 scale so that it helps for you to find clothes.
Customization-wise I would think Yahoo acutions Japan would be a better place to look for custom heads as I think Volks would only sell the heads and you would have to actually work on them yourselves and the Volks stores should carry everything you need to customize heads and eyes if not their site is a great alternative.
Hope this helps.
Buy a basic body from volks, they have two models and came whitout a head. So you can buy a head part and customize her. In the volks shop have all the materials you need to customize. For clothes I recommend visiting azone shop they have more options than volks. If can stay until 25 July now u can go check the wonder festival event. Volks and azone maybe sell some dolls, even is not saying not in their sites. Also u can find custom heads make from the bazaar area (I think is this way called) that's all I can help for now, good luck!!!
Thanks for all the replies, don't think I'll be going to Dollpa 6 because its too close to the date I need to leave Japan.
Interested in Wonfest though. Will they be selling special heads or anything of the sort? (Dresses and accessories will be there I presume)
How exactly do option heads work by the way? I think you buy the option head then apply the makeup?
And I'm not too sure how to get tickets for Wonfest, so if anybody could tell me..
Thanks.
Option heads, yes, if you buy it from Volks, you buy it blank and apply the faceup at home, or send it off to another artist to do the faceup for you. Be sure to pick up some Mr. Super Clear or the ZM powder spray though, as these are the only sealants currently known to work properly on vinyl. Others can partially dissolve the vinyl and as a result stay tacky for months on end.
I know you said you're not particularly fond of the Aoi (02) and Yukino (03) heads, and I used to feel the same way. But the right faceup can make a world of difference. Check out this guy's work: http://momo-man.net/top_frame.html The majority of his heads are the 02 and 03 heads, and you'd never guess they were the same as Aoi and Yukino at first glance.
If that *still* doesn't do it for you, you can take a look at Obitsu's heads, some of which are anime styled and some of which are not. Just remember, Obitsu's white is close to Volks' normal skin; essentially, Volks skin tones are both paler than Obitsu's, so you have to compensate by putting white with normal.
