Japan Day 1 and 2

Itsukushima Shrine.
Day 1
The post for day 1 isn't all that exciting, but things will get better!
Banzai! I'm finally getting started on these posts. Iku yo!
I took an ANA flight from Beijing International Airport (which is very spiffed up and nice looking) to Tokyo Narita International Airport. I arrived in the land of the rising sun at around 1:30pmish. I even managed to watch Summer Wars on the flight! It was a great movie, a must see.
Right after I arrived in Narita, I took the NEX (Narita Express) to Shinagawa station to switch to the Shinkansen lines.

Day 2
I started my ventures from Kyoto by heading off to Hiroshima first. After arriving at Hiroshima-eki by Shinkansen from Kyoto (JR Pass for the whole country is extremely helpful and money saving), I went on the JR ferry to Miyajima/Itsukushima, home to the famous Itsukushima Shrine.

You must be pretty nearby me, or were initially. Headed back Kyoto way?
Sorry! I already left Japan! XD This is just a recap of what I did over my week long trip. But yea, I probably was pretty near you.
