So my friend and I are currently staying in japan, and we are thinking of going to the wonfest, butt we have no idea how to get tickets... anyone here know how we can get tickets?

Tickets? Never knew you needed tickets. Thought Wonderfest was like any other convention with free admission.

Going to Wonder Festival is like that? OMG, I got to plan my trips to Japan around these events then. Wonder Festival and Comiket.
Yup, go there and buy their nice huge catalog/guide and theres your ticket.

admission is 2000yen. Doesn't say anything about purchasing them before hand so you probably just pay there, no tickets. Don't take my word for it but...
looks fun, maybe I'll attend too *_*
Go early and catch the 1st train if you want to get limited edition figurines :P
