Broken Stand

Posted by Little Miss Skuld [www]

I'm using my first post to show a small accident with my Figma Drossel's stand.
While putting her back with my other figmas the peg that goes in the back snapped in half. I had recently tightened the joints of the stand because they were coming loose, which probably explain why it broke instead of rotating. It took about a half hour to pry/dig it out with tiny screw drivers.
This makes me kinda sad because my Drossel has gone through a few repairs:(
Has anyone else have they're Drossel or other figures stand break in this fashion?

It's hard to see with the lighting, but you can vaguely see the broken piece.

Use the grabber from Di:Stage instead of the peg types from normal Figma... They work wonders...

When I get enough money to I'm going to buy the di:stage. I really don't want anymore of the stands breaking.

For the stands, i usually file the pegs, then nail polish them.

I got it out by scrapping it out with two very small screwdrivers over a half hour, I had to carve into it to pull it out. I scraped some of the paint off of Drossel's back while doing so T3T

T-T i had to digg at the hole in my figma yuki nagato's back with a screwdriver, file and stanley knife to make the peg fit. Vaseline helps alot too ^-^ I gave up in the end though ¬_¬

I had a bowl of hot water to make the plastic of the peg softer. It's pretty much on the verge of unsalvagable, so I need to buy a new stand. T-T
