Question for US Buyers

Just a quick question guys, when you order a lot of stuff like 4 figures and 2 pvcs in one shipment, how much do you guys pay for customs? This is for people in the US.

Thanks!

I have never paid anything to customs for anything I've ordered. I've had HUGE orders from Japan with 5-6 model kits, supplies, figures, etc. Never had to pay a cent.

The biggest order I put it was for about $1200 order and didn't have to pay customs. That was the only one I really thought they would get me on. I have never payed though.

I've also never paid customs, and lately everything has been clearing customs really quickly.

As far as I know, US doesn't charge customs. I've never paid custom charges either. I think it has something to do with the items being personal or commercial.

I've never been hit with any customs charges. Even on international travel, I want to say the minimum for declaration is $5,000.

How do you pay for customs? You don't. =P Hobby items don't get customs taxed in the US, so long as the package is clearly labeled that way. Lucky us!

I doubt you ave to pay customs. The biggest shipment I got from amiami is my 1st exceed mode, 2 MG models, and a hoodie and I didnt have to pay anything in regards to customs, tax, or duties.

Every month I get a $300-$1400 shipment and there is zero customs tax. Toys, for personal use, are not subject to customs tax.

I have never paid customs either. One month I had them hold orders until all figures were released, so had a big box with 6 figures in it and wasn't charged anything on customs for it.

Unless you order over $6000 in stuff (This may have changed in recent years, but was the number in 2004) you will not pay customs tax on it. Above that amount, the total customs charge is based on a few different factors. Unfortunately, I don't know all those.

I've never paid customs on anything I've ordered from Japan (clothes, figures, dolls, food, magazines, you name it...) so I think it's pretty unlikely.... I even had a clothing order in giant boxes come that was declared in the hundreds and customs didn't even blink XD
