ANAxGundam

seems that Japan’s obsession with Gundam is limitless. What can follow after a 60-foot Gundam robot, a Gundam Cafe in Akihabara, or a 1.5m tall figure? Answer: a Gundam jet.
Bandai Namco, the company behind the cult anime robot, teamed up with Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) to paint a Boeing 777-300 with a “life-size” Gundam on one side and a Gundam logo on the other (the logo’s pictured above). The jet will fly on certain domestic routes from today till spring 2011 to mark the 30th anniversary of the release of the first Gundam model kit.
Here’s a video (in English) that provides more insight about the ANAxGundam project:

Really cool ! It brings back memories of the episode in Gundam Wing, where Hero Yuy flew in with Wing Gundam and slashed at that jet with the officials in it. The official said "Dont be rash young man !" lol
Wow... first Hello Kitty, then Pokemon, and now Gundam!
Kind of a shame it won't be flying internationally. I'd love to see the looks at a US airport if something like that were to land here...
i rather go take a ride in it so i could grab the HG anaxgundam and the 1/48 scale one, which is only offered for this plane as airline gift.
WoW~ that is awesome!!! I just wish they could replace all their jets with the same design!!
once pokemon Jet, now Gundam...
damn, a lot of otakus in ANA heads?
cool! wish to have a ride on this!
Wish they could just reproduce that special kit but makes it too pricey due to the need to ride the plane. TuT
