MG ガンダムエクシア Gundam Exia WIP 2 & 3
Combining WIP 2 and 3, as it will be easier and less clutter on the top page. 1st off, I apologize for good WIP pics. A lot of times I forget to take the camera out and snap some shots before working. ^ ^;

The bottom half of the plate that goes between Exia’s arm and body. Not making the top half because it’s not a frame part. These parts are sanded then painted.

Also some unpainted parts, for the shoulder armor. Love the details on it, looks awesome.

Something some of you may have been waiting for, a good comparison of the painted and unpainted.
The other shoulder is also painted and panel-lined. Now that the shoulders are done, let’s move onto the waist.

Some unique looking parts for the waist. Already painted and begun panel-lining.

Frame of the waist is complete. Can’t add the frames for the skirts because it requires colored parts.

And here’s what I have so far. Moving onto the hip next. Do you think that my pattern of building Exia is weird? ^ ^;

The left hip, cleaned off nub marks but yet to be painted. Very interesting how the frame of the hip works.

Painted. Wow, that was easy. Might as well go onto the rest of the leg.

Part of the thigh. Cleaned off nub marks, sanded and test fitting.

Painted.

Lower leg. Craptastic photo. >.<*

Completed. Looks mighty awesome. It bends pretty well.

I really love how it looks. I wanted to call it a Dragon Spine when I completed it. ^ ^;

Parts for the foot and ankle. Painted, but not panel-lined.

Test fitting. Very loose (not the joints), needs 2 red pieces to keep it together, as well as to add his toes in. Oh well, it’s his foot so it will be fine.
Hating these bad photos, so now on, all WIPs will be shot using my lightbox. Next WIP will be showing the completed left leg.

Really cool. Gives things a more industrial look :]
These pictures do a really bad job at representing how the color really is. Next WIP will be better.
Cant wait to see it !
Just some examples on how the next WIP's photos will look like.

What colour did you use for the frame? It looks good!
Krylon Metallic Black.
Nice, looks like an engine block of a car or vehicle!
Nah, cars have way too much grease, dirt, oil and other nasty stuff. ^ ^;
