I recently redid part of my desk, and it looks a bit nicer now, so I thought I'd document it~
I only have a few figures on my desk, and of course, Aryanna.
I spent a long time looking for a desk shelf/laptop stand that I liked, but in the end I couldn't find anything....
so I created one using a board from a bookshelf I'm not using and some boxes.... XD
最近机の形ちょっと変わって、けっこうきれいだと思うのですから、少し報告しようと思いました。（いや、「報告」は絶対間違い言葉だと分かってるんだけど、やっぱり正しい言葉思いつかないですから我慢してくださいｗｗ）
フィギュアは少ないけど、もちろん、アリアナもあるのです～（つい「いる」と書いてしまいましたｗ 皆さんは、人形のことを話してる時には「ある」使うのですか？「いる」使うのですか？）
なが～い間に机シェルフ/ノートスタンドを探してたんですけど、結局気に入るのは見つかれなかったのです…
んで、今使っていない本棚のあまったものと箱を使って、シェルフを作りました！笑

Kanji in Context Volume 2. almost done using it to make flashcards in mnemosyne. my kanji comprehension has REALLY gone up since using these books.

Desk shelves are pretty useful, the screen is up near eye level for me now, and I can put stuff underneath! sometimes laptop stands don't allow for that. Previously I was using my adjustable laptop table which is meant for use while in bed/on the couch/etc but then I never took it down to use it that way, which seemed like a waste XD;
I need to put it up on shelf :] Right now My desk real estate is all taken up with three monitors. My laptop is currently on an improvised desk. Once I get some time, I have to use your idea ^__^

it's actually a DS Lite, the DSi's not in such a pretty pink yet (and that's the #1 reason why I don't own one, if you can believe it XD;)
I'd aim for a pink monitor next but I think that'd be bad for my eyes (@_@)

yeah, but where am I gonna find a quality pink monitor?? people make electronics pink and more than half the time it's low-grade stuff for gradeschoolers XP I was lucky that Sony made a decent lappy in pink, really. (tangent: I almost had a pink TV once. I bought a simple one in Japan, and picked it because there was a pink model, but they were all out (;_;) so I ended up with white. /tangent)
I suppose I could get a nice one and spraypaint it, but that seems like it would be a bad idea... XD; I don't think http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001335 would mesh well with pink spraypaint, however...

I think you can see the thermometer in some of the photos, umm... it was up to 90something today I think, and at the time it was in the mid-80s still inside, so I was trying to circulate the air a bit better~
I don't have aircon since it's only hot three months of the year or so and I'm okay with hot temps as long as I have a breeze~ ( ^ ^)

My first play was "New Super Mario bros" (http://mario.nintendo.com/),but now I'm into Dragon Quest series(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Quest).They remind me of my childhood. Plus I love the theme music.

Hmm... One of my favorite DS games is The World Ends With You, known in Japan as 「すばらしきこのせかい」( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_Ends_with_You ).
Right now I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/358/2_days ).
I also use my DS as a dictionary for studying Japanese (^_^) I use the 「漢字そのまま楽引辞典」 software~ It's so useful to be able to write in kanji and not have to look up by radicals or stroke order~ (^_^) ( http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/arjj/index.html )
