Lumix LX5 Specs is Out

If you have been waiting for the next generation Lumix LX3, the Lumix LX5 details is just out!

have not been keeping up with these... was there ever a lx4? also I thought the GF took it's place.
I have no idea what happened to LX4... I wish I could afford a GF-1 as well....
The GF1 is a completely different product line to the LX3. Not only that, it's a whole different class of camera entirely; the LX3 is a compact point-and-shoot while the GF1 is a Micro Four-Thirds camera (essentially a DSLR in a smaller body). The two lines sit at quite different points in the market.
I see... thanks for the info. Makes sense, lenses for the GF are pricey. I currently use a Nikon DLSR, but very interested in the GF.
Panasonic's a Japanese company, and in Japan "4" is sometimes considered to be bad luck, since one of the pronunciation of it is the same as the character for death...
There was no Canon S4 IS (but there was a S3 and S5).
I imagine that's the case here as well.

Nice specs I was gonna go for the LX3 back then but didnt have the zoom capabilities of TZ10. and its slightly bulky. Awesome LX5 though but I'll stick to my TZ10, I'm very happy on what it can do =D.
for those who were wanting LX3 just wait abit and save some moar zenny and get this LX5 bad boy!!
