Just manage to open this today, although I got it about two weeks ago. It is truly a magnificent figure. The only down side is that he comes with so little accesorries.

SUPER WANT. But I've spent my PlayArts Funds for Jeanne and Bayonetta already. XD
hehe this is actually my very first PlayArts figs
I'm not a fan of PlayArts nor of their main line, the Final Fantasy line. But Bayonetta was just a "MUST GET" for me, so I did anyway. And considering PlayArts don't cost so much, I play safe by setting aside a couple of bucks just in case I suddenly want a figure that's out of my list... PlayArts would be one of them. XD
Really look like he's fighting in a real battlefield.
Nice job =D
Nice, this would probably be one of the few PlayArts figures I actually like.
Ditto, but they really surprise me this time (compared to their ff release)
It's because the Bayonetta and MGS PlayArts are of the PlayArts:KAI line. They're limited production items... so better quality is what you get. XD
The SquareEnix:FinalFantasy line on the other hand are regular released meaning there are more on production. Similar to how GSC goes with Figmas, less quality is applied on Regular Production compared to Limited Releases which undergo more intense quality check.
Those are some nice figures.
After reading some comments in this post and other posts here on figure.fm, there's one thing I'd like to comment on. There seems to be a lot hate for the Play Arts line, particularly the Final Fantasy Figures. I have tons of Final Fantasy Play Arts figures. I think the only ones I'm missing are Shiva and Odin from Final Fantasy XIII and Cloud's Harley Daytona and Fenrir bikes. I think they're all really nice figures. I don't understand all they hate they get here.
Those are some nice shots.*
it's not hate, it's called preference
Big Boss awesome
