Gwendolyn & Mercedes by Alter

Every so often you come across one of those figures that so precisely reminds you of why you like to like to collect figures in the first place. Amazingly enough, I’ve got two such figures right here in this post, though their release dates were quite some time apart ;). Alter has really hit the mark with their two Odin Sphere figures: Gwendolyn and more recently Mercedes. Since the game features such beautiful environments, I decided an outdoor shoot would be best. Tried to place both figures in a natural setting that seemed fitting.

Outdoors really suit odin sphere characters. if alter makes a Velvet, I hope she'll also have a base that is related to outdoors. I think Mercedes' and Gwendolyn's bases are from the same stage.
Yeah, I'm hoping Alter follows up with Velvet soon. I skipped the Yamato one because I wanted Alter's instead...

I've always been a huge fan of George Kamitami's designs, and i somehow missed these figures during the original release. not making that mistake this time.
