Sayonara OneManga.com T_T

Posted by Crimson03 [www]

OneManga.com was a superb site, been following it for nearly as long as Negima and Fullmetal Alchemist combined. With this website i have enjoyed countless manga, but all good things must come to an end. To read what happened, visit the site! But if you want to, please show some support to OneManga by liking them on Facebook T_T ..

Sure distributing free manga online was not the way, but it was a good reference/sample site ppl would use to read before they'd buy the manga! It last quite a while and it did a good long run till the end .. Sayonara, Onemanga.com! Only a matter of time till all the websites get closed down permanently anyways >.<

Mouseover = load notes.

OneManga is finally gone for good T_T

There are others, but how long will they last? Only a matter of time!

Fool! You just gave them their new targets!
    It's the end! THE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD!!!!!

    *self-slap*

But really, scanlations are the ones making me buy manga.
I like to have the series I like in physical form.
Why buy what I don't like?

unless they have a picture search engine like Eden of the East, they would. thats why i never put any links to be spider-botted. LOL. Yeah but for those that heavily relied on OneManga, i gave them clues on where to go next! .. 50% good 50% bad.

I guess it'll be like the good ol' days. Time to hit the IRC channels of scanlators.

Does 1000manga even really count ? I mean, thats really just onemanga adult version.

Life is going to suck now, as my PC will be littered with .rar again. onemanga was a great resource for keeping my files looking half way decent, on top of the convenience of a 1 stop for all. And most importantly, I was able to find plenty of manga titles I never would have heard of otherwise, for example freezing or Vinland Saga > <

But it's cool, I know a lot of publishers are making strides to going digital much in the way anime has been getting simulcast popularity. And onemanga will still be around as a forum discussion thing. So can still find recommendations on good reading there =D

IRC and forums were originally how manga/anime were spread around in the past >.<

Yea but that didn't help much on appeal. Most of the manga I got pre OM days was through animewaves, dynsaty and Evil-Genius. Having that huge library with quick access and hassle free previewing really helps a lot.

I don't really know what am I going to to to read manga now that holy sites like Onemanga or Mangatoshokan won't last too much.
And like many others comrades, without this sites I wouldn't be able to find gorgeous mangas.
    So sad.

    it's so sad.... T__T
how will we discover new series if companies keep pulling the ways in which we do so? :/
maybe a crunchyroll style makeover will appear in the future... >_>
