The screenshots show Kazuya Mishima not Jin Kazama which goes the same for the video.

I think it's because street fighter and tekken have such a big fan base( correct me if I'm wrong) so fusing the two together equals a good game?

There will be two games, capcom will develop "Street Fighter x Tekken" which will run on Street Fighter system (as seen on the image and video above) and the other one "Tekken x Street Fighter" will run under the namco game engine.

oh i was wondering about that. when i saw the post i was wondering who was making the game and which engine/control system they would use. if you a fan on one more then the other it might be hard to marry a new control scheme.

I'd rather have an official MUGEN for the consoles. But since licensing would cost an insane amount of money, it'll never happen.

They are doing this to make it epic coz Capcom is so far the biggest company that survived since the 1990s. Let's just hope Tekken ain't doing it coz they are running out of ideas and going broke TwT

I think Capcom is successful because they try to please fans. I don't know about Namco's Tekken group running out of ideas but it's a possibility.

If Capcom and Namco wanted to take it to the next level, KOS-MOS should be in the game roster. At the moment if I'm right Namco Bandai owns the rights for KOS-MOS. Oh well, I'm crossing my fingers for this possibility.
