Goodbye World of Warcraft, Hello Starcraft II

It's 27th July for Malaysia, and guess what, its Starcraft 2's release date!!! And yeah, as the title shown; This is my farewell post to World of Warcraft, and a Welcoming new dawn of Starcraft 2. I have been wanting to post this like ages ago, especially if you can see the date of my World of Warcraft subscription expiry:
Not to mention including a couple of cool replay videos from the beta. Well, the lack of time, laziness, and Fraps totally killing itself when i try to Fraps during Starcraft 2 and many other little things combined resulted in this huge delay.
Anyways i will try to keep it short on the farewell posting:
Yes, it is a reality, i am quiting World of Warcraft. No joke, no troll. If you still cannot believe it, i can't and will not bother to further justify myself. I would also like to take the opportunity to apologize to the people from WoW that i have offended, as i sincerely would prefer leaving the game in peace despite all the trolling/hating i have done in the past. Not to mention apologies to my past/present guild mates for me mistreating them despite the support they have given me, and particularly to Misko/Rommorga for leaving so soon without a proper farewell. Hope that you may forgive me to those who are concerned.
Also i would like to thank everyone who have been with me since the creation of Death Infused guild. Particularly the folks from Australia/America, especially Febji, Menchi and Chiron (hope i am getting you guys correctly ^^;) who came all over to Malaysia to visit us, and Inter for treating us to a very luxurious dinner over at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Last but not least, everyone from the HWL group, and my PVP arena teammates (Zulivan, Rommorga, Misko, Tocsitup, Spira for being the best teammates that i can count on regardless of what i may say in the past. All of you guys have been amongst the best WoW memories i had.

Man, looking back on the 5+ long years i have been with the game and even my thread over at LYN here, it's something that no money can buy. Thank you Blizzard Entertainment, for creating such an addicting game, and all the memories it had brought to me, and i will be counting you guys in the future for Starcraft 2 too! And again, Thank you everyone in WoW for all the good times i have had. I truly, and sincerely mean it from the bottom of my heart. To those i have missed out, much apologies as five years is a very long time to keep everyone in mind ^^;

Now, moving on towards the future - Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty. The much anticipated Blizzard RTS, 12 years since the original Starcraft. Hell, its about time. And i will leave you with this awesome sc2 trailer clip:
I really want to get sc2 but my pc can't even run it on the lowest settings :[ I might buy a new desktop, but I can't really afford to go over $500. Tis a sad day.
#500 is ~MYR1600
and 1600 could get you a sc2 playable machine. While it will not look perfect (with low graphic settings), it will allow you to play sc2, if thats what you want.
Wait until you decide to play FFXIV lol
luckily I have a ps3 for that >_>
They will have difficult time making that playable while keeping the graphic quality similar to PC. They already delayed PS3 version considerably
unfortunately they dont seem to learn from FF11 :(
Lol me and 3 of my other friends have done the same thing and hoping s2 will hold us off till cata since I'm pretty interested in the wow expansion still. Hopefully there is used map settings maps and if there is hopefully people make some fun ones like back in SC1.

Pfft, I quit WoW a while ago. The day they announced Cataclysm, in fact. I was sick of the crap RP. :[

He probably meant the NPC RP where it took like 10mns to start a boss or instance because they blizzard felt the need to make you listen to the same speech after you've done it 50 times over.
most, if not all of said "crap RP" is skippable/ignorable btw. even the one in CoT:strat (arthas turning evil instance lol)
Yea now it is since they changed it a few patches ago but back when it first came out it was horrible but I usually just ended up getting something to eat or browse the internet till it was all over.
If you can call it that. >/ I went to a private server for a while where the RP was actually...pretty good, if I dare say. But I've stopped playing even that now. XD Every 'RP' server on WoW is doomed to spiral downwards until it finally becomes a PvE or PvP server. Sometimes it takes years, sometimes months.
&& BTW, Reno...I'ma girl. :P
I quit WoW since 2 years ago, it was killing me slowly and I sucked at time management sigh. Luckily I picked an Oceanic server that time, or I'm going to kill myself for the raid time lol.

Gonna be enjoying the SP Campaign tonight. MP feels a bit too old school for me after playing Company of Heroes and Ruse.
as a beta tester playing in the gold/plat/diamond leagues, MP is totally awesome and imho, doesn't feel old school at all ^^
I heard the normal edition of Starcraft 2 is retailing locally for SGD 109 (or USD 80), which is pretty crazy since Gamestop website list it for only USD 60.
Moreover, since my RTS playing ability had all gone to rust, I'll be passing on Starcraft 2 and instead just drool over the cutscene videos on youtube. Hopefully, Diablo 3 would be released soon.

With the release of Starcraft 2 coming to U.S.A. I haven't felt this kind of hype since Wrath of the Lich King. Watching everyone else experience the game before you and getting better at it while I was left behind.

the moment this game came to my doorstep i was spewing with glee and paid for it cheaper then some people :)
now having capped bandwidth is an issue since the game needed patching as well as registering the key online.... another 7 days till i can actually play it <.<
I'm still waiting for my friends sigh. It's been a long time since I played SC, everything is down to rust haha. I heard from my friend that ladder match is region locked?

Wow, thanks. I didn't follow the update since a long time. SC2 is region locked, sigh... Hopefully the SEA region will be as good as US region.
The 27 also happens to be my birthday ! Happy birthday me, right ! I think there will be some problems when family calls me up to take me out for dinner > <

Installing game .... dam takes long
Took me about 2 hours just to get the game going >.< (well I have to install vista service pack 1 as well so yea lol)
Really cool! I got mine too yesterday. Campaign is very nice.
We should make a group so we can play sometimes ^^~
