MG Red Frame, Finally

Posted by Falldog [www]

I've been working on this guy on and off since it was released. I've finally gotten around to finishing it. Of course, silly me, I forgot a lot of the details I wanted to do. Oh well, at least it looks alright.

Blatant plug for my website: http://otakurevolution.com/content/mg-astray-red-frame-finished

Off-topic since I know little about Gunpla, but it your username "Falldog" a David Bowie reference? Like "Falldog Bombs the Moon"?

I think you're the first person to get that, and I've been using the name for years. :D

Well, my username is from the much older DB song "1984". They'll take your Pretty Cranium and fill it up with air ...

I'm one of the few remaining Bowienet members -- saw DB on the Reality tour in Montreal from the 4th row. It was one of the best moments of my life .

I saw him ten to twenty rows back during his stop in Hershey, PA. It was fantastic.

I didn't realize the hand design are like this, cause I thought it would be straight until the elbow area. O_O

These kits are probably the most poseable MG by far.

It was a while since I built it, but I don't recall any issues with it on my Blue Frame. On this guy, the vfin is pretty lose and can fall off and disappear if you're not paying attention. It's a pretty simple build with great results.
