looks cool so far... is that a Koto kit? and did you paint the parts on the runners or is that 2nd pic oob?
Looking at the runners' finish it's probably OOB. Plus you wouldn't stack the runners like that if it was painted.
maybe part of a ritual though.... helps with weathering and scaring pieces. The silver threw me off it looks like it's heavily coated... what do I know, I don't like Koto plastics anyway.
Exactly, if it was paint, it could scratch another, and if one is aiming for weather, manually weathering it is smarter than tossing runners together.
The silver looks normal to me. And I haven't bought any Kotobukiya kits.
next step is to beat it with a heavy metal chain.... it's like distressing furniture ;)
Lightning Saix is awesome. I wish that I can pick one up myself but no funds...
The LED inside the head is part of the design? or is a self-mod?
Damn, you got it already. Mine only shipped last week. I might not get a chance to build mine until late in the fall though. Let us know how the rest of the construction goes.
