Hipstamatic #2 - Kawaguchi-ko
Another load of photos from the Hipstamatic iPhone app - this time taken at the top of the ropeway (cable car) at Kawaguchi-ko. This town is one of the prime spots for visiting Mt. Fuji and was very pleasant. Anyway, at the top of the ropeway you are meant to have nice view of Fuji, but it was far too cloudy to see anything. So instead, they have these large models telling a story about a rabbit and a beaver(?) to amuse you.

Here's the rabbit welcoming you off the cable car.

And his nemesis - a, er... beaver?

So the rabbit set fire to the beaver's rucksack of wood.

And eventually jumped on his back and made the beaver cry.

He then tied him up at the ceiling.

And here is the rabbit sitting smugly.

This was on the way to the Kawaguchi-ko station. A chicken. On a cat. On a dog. On a horse. Awesome.

I think it's a donkey ^^; If I remember correctly, it's from a fairy tale/fable-thing
I think...what's it called...that's a Tanuki.
