Rei Ayanami Shunya Yamashita Ver. PVC

From Yamato here's Creators' Labo CL#015 Rei Ayanami, based on the sexy illustrations by Shunya Yamashita and sculpted by Mitsumasa Yoshizawa. She's quite tall, at about 26 cm of height.

It's a very fine figure. One day, I'd own one (probably).

There's also a Asuka version. Getting both side by side would be a nice treat ^^

The Asuka version will be available only as a garage kit (I think it will be sold from August, it should be a new release). I don't know if they will make a PVC version of it, like they did for Rei.
This one, being the PVC version, is sensibly cheaper... it retails for 6,800 yen at HLJ: http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT34487 - I think it's a fair price considering her size and overall design.
And thanks for the compliments... I don't have studio space anymore at the moment (I'm moving to another apartment) so that's just an improvised setup (1 flashlight + reflectors).
Asuka wont be making her way to pvc, because its not based on Shunya original illustration.
The one at e2046 are illustrated by their own artist.
The kit coms in 2 form, raw garage kit(already on sale since months ago) and pre-painted kit(this coming august)

for anyone living in london and looking for one, there is a shop in trocadero called tokyotoys that sells it. Pretty pricy but worth it if you cant be bothered to wait for the shipping.
