My handheld collection

I took a photo for a friend of my growing collection. So I thought I would post it here. As you might see I am obsessed with pokemon haha.
My pride and joy of this collection is the pikachu ds lite and yes its real. I know there are a lot of fakes going around. The only thing thats missing is my copy of pokemon de panepon I let a friend borrow it also I couldent find the box for english platinum or the pokewalker for english soul silver but all the rest is the japanese versions even the systems.

Nice collection, pokemon rules :) It's impressive that you still have the gameboy colour too.
yeah i guess im a bit of a pokemaniac but my gameboy color still works and i even have the box for it. It was the first game system I ever got from japan way back when so I always kept it in good condition

I had all the games besides Green. In English though. XD I remember Crystal was my first game. Then I got addicted and bought the older ones along with the new releases. Now I only have Emerald, FireRed, Diamond, Platinum, and SoulSilver. Awesome collection! Pokemon will never die!
Well I guess I should have had them in English but growing up my neighbor and best friend is Japanese and he gave me green version and ever since then I've been playing them in Japanese. I do have to say though because of pokemon i was able to learn Japanese pretty well i guess(enough to play them) so if anyone wants practice with Japanese try out pokemon xD

Wow, so you were able to play and understand those older Japanese versions?
I think I still have American Yellow, FireRed, Emerald, and HeartGold right now. Haven't played too much of them but I like like them. Wouldn't mind picking up a Crystal and Platinum when I get a chance.
I guess it took me like 2 or 3 years to understand them but back then he used to help me a lot. I guess what helped a lot is they only speak Japanese in his house and I am always over there and I was really young. It was like 1995 or 1996 I think. Pokemon wasnt even out in USA yet so I would have been 6 or 7 years old when I started to learn

Haha, wow. I still have my original Pokemon Blue version (my first Gameboy game ever.)
I still have mine too haha. That pokemon green its hard to believe I have had it for 15 years already and it still saves.

Nice. My Red doesnt save anymore. I had like 60 hours on my Blue but that one got erased, too... -sigh- every Pokemon and only a few were caught with Gameshark (like Mew.)

I still have my original Game Boy and Game Boy Pocket! Missing all the steps in between those and my DS though - I never got a Game Boy Colour (didn't see much point, especially in retrospect) and I got rid of my GBA SP.
