黒歴史 Black History
A sudden nostalgia prompts me to showcase some of my older GunPla kits from years ago, during my ancient black and white historical amateurism on such fine specimens... >,<
Nevertheless, it's a great pleasure indulging in such a hobby, as I can really appreciate all my hard works as I spent sweats and bloods on the runners instead of playing the ready-made figures and such around like ragdolls... I dare not even play with my artwork as for almost all the time they sit in my glass cabinet for display purposes... X3
You may notice totally n00b works on various Mobile Suits, as my ever changing employment of various techniques experimenting with GunPla kits on my early Otaku days... ^^;
Anyways, enjoy my once amateurish (I dare not say I'm a top-notch professional photographer as of today but... XD) photo shooting skills on my Master Grade kits... ^_^ Side note: I have close to a dozen MG kits have yet to be photographed of which I think will never be... ^^;
Head to the Republic of Neo Pro Lacus for a 2 parter on various Mobile Suits with plenty of piccies on each of them...
RX-78-2 Gundam Version 1.5; My first ever Master Grade kit from half a decade ago... Thick panel lines and failed transparent coating... ^^;
Ez8; My fave grunt Gundam unit... ^_^ Hoping for a Version 2.0 of this magnificent kit...
F91; I was quite amazed by its size that's almost identical to the likes of a 1/144 High Grades eventho this MS is an MG...
Freedom Extra Finish Version; No panel linings needed due to the semi bling bling ness... Very much in love with its side skirt railgun design...
Strike Rouge; Obsession with all things pink demands my acquisition of this MS... ^^; Messed up with outer armour panel linings and transparent coating that I'd ordered another set of the pink runners (From HLJ... They can help you to acquire certain runners and parts from Bandai like bling bling parts for your vanilla Shin Musha Gundam, with a fee of course...) just to fix her up...
Hence forth I've decided not to mess with transparent coating anymore...
Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode; Was originally decided against getting this MG because I don't really like its overall design... However the temptation of the bling bling parts and the Funnel effect parts broke me... ^^;
Strike + I.W.S.P.; Strike is one of my fave base MS that I have no problem buying its variations from... I.W.S.P. is one such purchase...
Strike Noir; Another Strike variation... Liking its dual handguns and wired harpoons... ^_^
Zeta Version 2.0; My first attempt to apply water slide decals... Some of the decals were ripped off while I field testing the complicated transformation on this kit... Which eventually resulted in me giving up after several successful decaling... ^^;
ZZ; My first transformable GunPla... And it IS huge! Unfortunately bad skills at panel linings and transparent coating tarnished this fine kit... And its left fin-shield broke due to its fragility... ^^; Am hoping for a Version 2.0 since Zeta Version 2.0 is here...
FYI, the Beam Sabre used on ZZ is actually meant for PG RX-78-2 Gundam... XD
Hyaku-Shiki; The epitome of bling bling ness! Due to its early MG technology, articulations are no good at all... -_- The shiny outer armour also pale in comparison to the true golden bling bling of newer kits like the 1/100 Akatsuki...
Turn A; I adores unconventional MS, and this GunPla fit the picture perfectly... The overall curvy yet blocky design took my breath away during the moment I've completed the assembly this beast...
Unicorn Version KA; The beauty of this stark white MS is beyond words... I especially admires the way Unicorn splits apart when transforming into Destroy Mode... However, the knee joints are quite a disappoinment...
Zaku II-F2; Zaku's asymmetrical design intrigues me ever since I saw them in 08th MS Team, my first Gundam series when I started anime... Hoping for a Version 2.0 adaptation... ^_^
Zaku II-J Version 2.0; The new articulations employed in this MG is too magnificent that I had to grab one for my own! ^_^ This is my second Zaku unit amongst the horde of Gundam units... ^^;

Btw, I just bought my first MG,Wing Zero Custom, and I was wondering, does spray painting a clear coat over the dry transfer decals or the stickers mess them up?
I don't think it'll mess up as many people use that method as well...
Now that reminds me... I still haven't decal my MG Wing Zero Custom or document it yet... ^^;
