Just unpacked Momohime from Alter and decided to take some bad pictures...

Love the compact base.

Nice detail as usual with Alter. Several choices regarding sword position, which is nice...

Here she is with two other recent acquisitions in her natural habitat.

Thanks a lot. Momohime is a very cute figure, but I never heard of the character or played the game she is in. I leaned toward buying her, which I obviously did.

When I first saw this pic, my eyes pretty much immediately went here. Then I looked to the left... ^_^

This figure is on my want list. Though, I'm probably going to hold off on getting her for the time being. Not having a job at the moment has made me put more thought into buying expensive figures.

Ya, the base is quite compact and neat. Wish more figures would have that kind/type of base.

It's called a Norfolk Island Pine. They are sold around Christmas as a "living Christmas tree".

O_O Havent seen many like this but I love the concept of a compact base! Might be a slight bit less stable, but museum wax will handle that ^^

I hope one day we'll do away with figure bases altogether. Some bases just look cheap, like a plastic cover for your can of Pringles potato chips. Some bases are too large and some would have an ugly color, like dull maroon.

But without bases some figures would topple or faceplant almost immdiately due to their poses. MegaHouse's Echidna, Menace and Anellote come to mind. As do Alter's Nadie and Aizu's Mai Shiranui.

I know this is a bit late but you've got a wonderful collection, and tastes similar to my own. Keep it up, are you on MFC?

I'm guessing MFC is "My Figure Collection" - am I right? Whatever it is I'm not on it. Should I be?

Yes that is correct, You should only be on it if you want to be, as someone with a great collection, you can use it to catalog what you have, along with other. you should only be on it if you want to be, its all up to you, i was just trying to see what your complete collection is like.

I think maybe I came across poorly. I was just asking if it would be worth my time to check it out. Sounds like it is.
