AmiAmi Perrine preorder...and a question

Alrighty, so Perrine just went up for preorder at AmiAmi for 5,540 yen, with a release date of January '11:

I have heard, however, that although AmiAmi's Strike Witches figures are 1/8, that they're a bit smaller than the ones from Kotobukiya and Alter (which are also 1/8), and therefore don't quite go with them. That is the main reason I haven't preordered Lucchini yet. I need someone who owns them to confirm for me, are they really smaller? 'Cause I don't wanna wait for the others to come out with their own versions if they do match. If they don't, though, I WILL wait. Can someone tell me for sure?

Ack! I preordered Lucchini already, but I like Perrine the best... Though I was thinking of cancelling that order. But really Lucchini looks better than this Perrine >_< Oh the dilemma!

BTW that Lucchini from AmiAmi is not released until October. Maybe if someone who has a Yoshika by AmiAmi?

She doesn't look to bad but I'm keeping it to alter releases of the strike witches figures.

Was thinking the same but their standards seem to be on par. OR so it seems...

I only hope that Amiami get rid of the daft stand that they did for Shirley, which I don't find too safe tbh (I'll grab pics later and post them to show you what I mean - charging camera battery as I type). For the cost of the figure I was hoping for a fairly sturdy stand, but the one she has is sub-par, so I'm hoping they rectify this for their future SW releases.

As to your question regarding the sizes, The amiami releases are smaller, even if they claim to be 1/8. You'll find the KB and Alter releases are similar in size to each other, but their Sanyas tower over Shirley. I think she's more 1/10 scale as she's about the right size next to my Miyafuji and Lucchini.

Again, once the camera is powered I'll nab pics for you.

That big of a difference, huh? Well, darn. Guess I'll have to wait until Alter does Lucchini (oh pleeease let it be Alter!!).

I own the Kotobukiyas as well and you're right, they do match up well with the Alters. But the AmiAmis...oh well. =/
