Dollfie Dream Asuka Yellow Dress Version!
Some of you might remember that Chun made a really nice version of Asuka's summer dress. Well, it was for my Asuka! It arrived this week and I was absolutely thrilled with the quality and workmanship. As well, the package had a nice surprise. I'll leave the rest to pictures as they best tell the story . . .
This is the package. The artwork, all hand-done by Chun, was a big surprise. My mouth dropped open when I saw it! I went the next day to buy a frame, she's going to sit on my desk.

Chun lined the top part of the dress (even the straps) with white to avoid staining. I'm really glad, because it's a tight fit on the top and a body suit would show at the neckline. But I realise with my tiny bit of sewing knowledge that lining it means basically making two dresses.
Asuka shows off! I had bought the red strappy shoes months ago before even finding someone to make the dress -- I just knew I needed this outfit. I'm going to work on making her watch (I'm thinking of using shrink plastic for the dial). I made the ribbon choker, using blue ribbon heat-bonded to white ribbon to prevent staining.

This looks like Asuka is being arrested, but I just wanted to show the back of the dress. Fine quality all around.

Yup! To keep it in place, when it's not in the cardboard it curls up into a funny shape ^^;

As someone else said, Asuka is indeed looking sassy in that new dress. :) I know from owning some clothing made by Chun that it is excellently made with care. You can tell from the pics that Asuka knows quality when she sees it. And that drawing is adorable! I also got some small doodles with my swimsuit but forgot to post them.... I'll fix that later. Congrats on such a great dress for your Asuka!

She really does look fantastic in the yellow. I love how Chun takes the time to make a white inner layer for protection - she's so cool!!! :D
