Evangelion World - Life Sized Evangelion Bust

Posted by punynari [www]

Today, I managed to find some time to make it out to Fuji Q Highland to see their latest attraction that had opened up recently. Evangelion World is a large exhibit showcasing the classic sci-fi anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion” through many life sized replicas of the cast, interactive props, a museum, and of course, the 1/1 scale Evangelion Unit 01 bust. Please enjoy my detailed look at one of the best mecha/sci-fi attractions the world has seen yet. (except from article)

Before I head on out, I wanted to share a bit of my experience from yesterday at Evangelion World. It was honestly one of the coolest things I have seen in Japan so far.

More pics, a full write up, and a video can be found on my original article here, these images are just a sampling.

Danny, if you want to hijack this article (including pictures not on figure.fm) to feature on Dannychoo, that's cool.

Gotta go, Hope you enjoy!

For some reason that head looks REALLY small compared Shogoki's first appearance, scale errors or not. It's at least three times bigger.

is it fairly big and life to anime realistic? hard to tell from the photo, doesnt feels like 1/1 scale unlike the gundam one they built.

Fuji Q Highland is located in the Yamanashi in Japan. And near the base of the Mount Fuji. It is a less than 2 hour ride by the bus coming from the Shinjuku. It is a most famous park among the world theme parks. It houses some of the tallest and fastest rollercoasters in the world.
