Dollfie Dream Kiriha’s First Photo Album 紅瀬桐葉写真集
I have been using the AdoramaPix service for my photo printing need lately since I have finally managed to have taken a meaningful amount of memorable photos of my lovely Dollfie Dream daughters. I believe I have mentioned somewhere that one of my main objectives in pursing Dollfie Dream Photography is to create and capture these special moments of my Dollfie Dream, in such a way that I can enjoy those moments again in the future. One of my latest projects, was to create a special photo album for none other than my most treasured (and spoiled to the max!) daughter Kiriha. Here I present you my 13th Dollfie Dream daughter Kuze Kiriha’s first Photo Album -- 紅瀬桐葉写真集.

Reader of my blog would be no stranger to how much I spoil Kiriha hahaha, even publishing her own photo album now, like a real Japanese Gravure Idol XDDDD. I am one step closer in flooding the Internet with my daughters’ photos (Evil laughs Mwahahahaha……).
AdoramaPix offer excellent service at a reasonable price, I can even share the photo album stored on their server for those people who might be interested to purchase their own copy of my work! It’s like publishing my own book! I never thought it would be so easy!
First step is to import your photo gallery into the photo book creation

Then dragging and dropping the images into the pages~

Their web based software is relatively easy to use, there are various basic design to choose from but since my main theme this time IS my daughter, there is little else I need to focus on.

Pages can open flat so it’s safe to lay the photo across 2 pages.

And just like that I have created a photo album for my Dollfie Dream daughter!
Here is their pricing list for the hard cover photo book

And they often have discount and special on their various photo product!

Best of all, new members will get a $10 bonus credit toward your photo product purchase, it’s like free money! Now that Kiriha has gotten her very own photo album published, I wonder which daughter should I pick to publish her own photo album next XD.

Nice! They need full res of each photo? About 4-5 MB each?
Thanks ^_^
Ah yes, I use full resolution photo jpg, they also accept tif file up to 60MB, sRGB color space.

Yup they do, plus $10 credit free just for signing up
Beautiful daughters, and very nice photo book you have going there.
Thanks you~
So cool! Some day I hope to have something like this made for my musumes ^o^ Like I commented on your flickr, it totally looks like those idol albums :3
You can do that and show case the clothes you have made so far as well!
Oh and yes, my Kiriha is a super idol XD
Whoa! That is so cool. This is the first time I've seen a dollfie idol book. You the man!
I must continue to find new ways to pamper my daughters! It's the only way to go! I <3 them too much~
Very cool!!! I also want to make one for my daughters!!!
I am sure your Rina would love to be in it! So as your Saber alter :D
Awesome job Wolf! Can't wait to see more of your girls in the form of books! Maybe I should give it a shot as well when I actually get off my butt and start taking more pictures. XD
I'm sure Kiriha is excited about being published!
I am definitely working towards the next photo book! I have a feeling that Rina would love to be in it!
Rina!
Rina <3
Do Nanoha and Fate next! *bricked for being super biased towards them and their head mold*
That *is* pretty cool that they do that. I guess they're trying to do a more layman's version of Lulu? Of course, if your "book" is all images their system would never know the difference between a photo album and a comic or an illuminated manuscript, so there's all kinds of ways to subvert it. =P
I am not familiar with Lulu at all until you mentioned it, checked them out and it's pretty cool indeed. Although these are real photo album that are designed to open flat and is printed on Kodak Luster photo paper so there is a difference there.
Ah, gotcha. Though I'm guessing these guys can only take so many pages, not nearly enough for even one volume of the epic webcomic I've been plotting. XD That and NaNoWriMo are what I knew about Lulu from. Still, for making something relatively professional for friends, family, or maybe a cross between a portfolio and a business card, Adorama's probably a better buy.
Kool! That's a very nice photo album!! I love your Kiriha she is very adorable~. Keep up the great photos of your daughters! (^^)
Thanks ^^, I adore my Kiriha just the way she is! Taking photos of my daughters is so much fun, you should try it as well ~
That photobook looks like it came out great, print quality seems good and crisp, thick pages too!
A lovely souvenir to commemorate the photo work of your beloved DD girl(s). ^^
That's a huge milestone for me, I have taken DD photography seriously for some time now, but only until recently did I manage to take photos I can really look back and say I think I did a good job. What I got to do right now is to pick another daughter, send her through the accelerated idol program and publish her idol book next XDDDD.
This really looks great. I see you can even make a poster sized image (24X36) for $14 - fantastic.
What's interesting is before digital cameras people couldn't take many photos because of film/developing costs but you always had a physical image to store in a shoebox or photo album to look at years later. Now most people have all those photos on hard drives, which has so many advantages, unless you don't back up your images and your data gets lost.
Having physical images gives you some insurance that at least some of your images, the best ones, are in another format. Plus looking through a book of your own images has a different feel to it.
Thank you~
You hit an interesting point there, it's one thing to have your favorite images in the hard drive but it's different to have them printed out in a book. I am very happy with what I have done so far :D the quality of the book is awesome.
ordered one already! will be delivered tomorrow for me!
Thank you for your order! I hope you would enjoy it!
wow, this is really awesome! My friends and I were last night discussing how to bind our pre-production for a short we're working on, and I remember seeing this post earlier and mentioned the site. ^^
really cool, your photos are amazing as always!
I'm glad to hear that was useful, and it's always good to hear positive feedback ^_^
