GenCon 2010 afterreport

Went to GenCon last weekend. Most of the details are over in my blog (http://fmphoenixhawk.livejournal.com/99997.html for the exact page.) but a few things that should have been covered.

-Saw a group cosplaying the Vocaloid crew, and even performing the songs. It was a cool group, but I couldn't get pictures (I saw them once without my camera, and once heading the wrong way with me having no time to stop.) They were all pretty good. Especially Luka. Damn, I wish I'd gotten at least a picture of her.

-A lot of Bleach and Lucky Star stuff this year. Which is odd, as it was the same last year. Maybe because Lucky Star is easy to do and Bleach is popular? Not as much Naruto and One Piece this year as last year. A few odd ones that it took me a double take to recognize.

-I should have scheduled my slots off for Saturday instead of Friday. THough, I would have had a harder time getting Wil Wheaton's signature on my copy of "Memories of the Future." Why? The costume contest was Saturday afternoon, so I could have gotten a lot of great shots.

So, please accept my apology for not having more pictures, but as I was working 8 slots for the free room, I didn't get out much. And no pictures of Orcus (This year's gargantuan mini, and used in the Open) but I didn't have my camera Sunday.
