Becca @ Warped Tour

Today I was lucky enough to find myself at the warped tour, a summer music festival put on by vans featuring tons of different artists, mostly of the punk variety, at least, in the past punk variety. Now while this news is not really otaku related, it actually ended up becoming a bit "Otaku" related, as when I was walking around, I past a small tent put up by the car company, Kia, that was hosting some very small acoustic performances. On the schedule they had up, it listed "Becca" for a later performance. And immediately I went "OH! I Know her ! I will totally show up to this !" So I did.
If you are not familiar with Becca, she was the young rocker gal who was featured for the Kuroshitsuji ending, "I'm alive". I ended up showing to her very small performance. Some where around 15 people were watching, And a few of those were friends of hers. I kinda felt a since of otaku pride knowing who she was. I kinda wish I had tried to sing along with her on I'm alive, I bet that would have made her day haha. Unfortunately, I am sad, and somewhat ashamed to say, that I didn't stick around and try to do a meet and greet with her, but I was strapped for time as one of the bands I went to the tour for, Reel Big Fish, a ska band I have loved since my high school days in the late 90's, was hitting the stage 10 minutes after she began her set. So I was kind of in a hurry > < Sorry Becca =(
But I have to let you guys know that even though she is an american 3d girl, she is a bit moe =p Easy to see why she is "Becca-chan". She was a funny and talented singer, and I had good laugh when she began to play this "Incubus, lady gaga" cover thing. She couldn't remember the opening line and the song was just.... lol awesome. She also later also became distracted during her final song when she had to stop and comment and laugh at how creeped out she got when she saw one of the viewers in a mask holding a super soaker like water gun. She then forgot which part of the song she was on. Anyways, it was a very memorable performance, and I wish I had gotten some pictures too. But alas, I was unfortunately unable to do so. I did manage to get 1 picture of green jelly performance. But that's not something for this place. Maybe on my blog though when I write about my time today there.

Nice! I was at the show on wednesday in pomona! Not sure if it was her or not but i passed the kia tent and heard a female singing ^^; I was trying to keep to my schedule as well. Had a fun time aside from getting toasted by the sun xD
HAHA. Sounds like we have a lot in common. I used to be pasty white. Now I am Crayola red. neck arms, forehead and nose burn soooo bad right now @ @
I am just about to go brew up some iced tea as recommended by "Dr" Grandma. Not for drinking though. For soaking some cloth in to sit upon my fiery burning sensations. You should try as well. Hear it helps very much and prevents the peeling too.
