Zettai Ryouiki socks for Dollfie Dream...
Nyan! For the complete text descriptions and all the pictures please kindly check the blog entry :) Thank you~!

You will need:
* A Dollfie Dream to lend you her leg (or a different doll if you prefer)
* Light colour knit fabric (example thin tee-shirt material)
* Paper
* Eraser (in case of mistakes, or if you are going to trace with a pen after)
* Pencil (Optional, a pen)
* Ruler — if you prefer to make a shorter pair of socks
* Scissors for cutting out the pattern
* Scissors for the fabric
* Sewing machine with light thread (not pictured above) Please use ball-point needle for knit fabric!

1) Position your dollfie’s leg on the edge of the paper as shown above...

5) Carefully cut around the pattern with the scissors for cutting fabric.

12) When sewing around the corners, go slow and raise the presser foot time to time (With the needle in down position), use your right hand to stop the machine or roll the needle into down position before lifting the presser foot to prevent the fabric from moving from it’s position.

13) After the straight stitching completed for both socks, it will look as above, you can chose to turn the socks inside out at this stage and call it done, but I would recommend an extra step.

Go slow around the corners, and do the lifting of pressure foot (With the needle in the down position) when needed.

*fast forward chipmunk sound* Tadah! Hope this tutorial is not too confusing ^^; Haven’t made one in a long time :P

Weeee! Thanks for the lesson^^
Hope you find it helpful!
Thank you for the lesson!
you welcome ^^
Thanks so much Chun! I can't wait to try this out -- I'm off to check your blog for detailed instructions.
Any tips on stopping the feed dogs from eating my fabric?
You're welcome! Hmmmmm I wish I know, I suspect every machine is different which was why the feed dogs eat your fabric =_=, I remember you wrote about sewing the knit fabric before :O and it seems that you got everything -- ball-point needle etc >_<
Thanks Chun san >0<
you welcome!
Thanks for the tutorial! I've gotta get my hands on some red-and-white striped fabric to make socks for Agatha in the future. ^_^
You're welcome, please be sure to test the red/white fabric to check if it stains or not ^^; it's usually a hit and miss, and use white thread to sew if the fabric works! :)
And whether it works or not, I'll definitely be washing it so it smells good. =P Thanks again!
oh please keep us posted when you complete it XD
That's really neat. Love it.
Thank you :D
I always wondered what goes into making clothing for Dollfies.... and now I know! Very neat Chun, I think that gave everyone some really good info on how time consuming something as "simple" as socks can be. Thanks for the pictures!
PS. Gee, I wonder *why* you finally got around to doing some socks/stockings.... Wink, wink. ^o^
lol! well there are 1-2 steps which can be skipped but I think I prefer to make it err complicated for myself sometimes ^^; and LOL indeed XD *chuckle*
That's neat, will have to try this out later XD
^o^ good luck!
I love you Chun. ;A;
