MG Gouf 2.0 Conversion to Gouf Custom (resin conversion kit from neograde)
I just finished this, started it about three weeks ago. Its a resin conversion kit from Neograde that converts the MG Gouf 2.0 to the Gouf Custom. For this kit, I decided to do a stripped camo pattern as well as preshade, this is a first, normally for such schemes, I don't even bother to preshade, but I thought I'd play around with the technique. The entire gatling shield assembly is resin, so the left arm is glued solid with epoxy glue. I have a belief that resin kits should always be fixed posed, then again, most of my kits don't ever change poses. The issue here is that in order to hold up the shield gatling weapon, the arm must be glued, there's no way the joints will hold up to the weight of everything.
The other modification was to the mono eye, I added an LED, collared it with a metal collar, then using a battery and reed switch assembly, I set everything up in the head and neck assembly. The LED is simply turned on with a magnet at the base of the neck which is hidden when the head is on the torso.
