Home Town Dollpa Osaka 6 - late report
So, I attended Volks' Home Town Dollpa in Osaka on Aug 1st. Basically? It was amazing. I didn't take pictures of EVERYTHING (although most booths were quite nice and let me take photos of their displays (I don't think I've ever said "may I take a photo?" so many times in my life), I only encountered one situation where I wasn't allowed) but I still have a huge batch to share with you all :D
(Edit: I've since made a more comprehensive post on my blog so please check it out for more photos & commentary!)

Here we have the Pure White girls. Miu's face still looks chubby, no matter how I see it :/ Sakuno was still ridiculously adorable in person, though~

What would summer be without girls in bikinis? I'm so used to the DDdy body for bikini shots that Rin and Saber look super toned o.o;

Cutie~ I'm only vaguely familiar with this mold - is she Sakura or something?

And the Eva girls, with Mari as the centerpiece.

Mari's pretty cute, I won't say otherwise, but she's not my favorite.

Alternate clothing for Sakuno & Miu. Not terribly flattering for Miu, but Sakuno's outfit keeps reminding me of Kanon... it's probably the check pattern that reminds me of a certain blanket that someone kept with them all the time...

Pannya is the most adorable thing EVER. It might be hard to tell, but this was a GIANT Pannya. I waaaaaaaaant!

And with the top hat. omg XDD

The Yo-SDs. Like the panda-boy (Papi?) better than the girl.

A room shot to give you a better idea of what the hall was like.

Room shot 2

And now we move onto dealer tables!

Bohemian fashion

"so bright...."

I love the effort some people put into posing their girls

......

some... interesting "toys" for your girls (&boys?) who like to play rough...

Lovely kimono

Lots of stuffed animals for your dolls to make friends with~

For those of you who can't get enough of sharks, etc. nomming on your doll's heads

Two things there were no shortage of at the Dollpa: Japanese traditional clothing (yukata, kimono, etc) and giant frilly dresses.

This little girl had some serious attitude! (Unfortunately this was one of the occasions where my hand was a bit unsteady -_- )

I really like the brown-haired girl second from the left.

Bright future, huh? Kind of a hypnotic shirt.... (or maybe that's because of something else...)

Lots of dealers had setups similar to this, where they had a big background for the girls to stand in front of. Smart.

More fluffy variations

And of course we have some variations on the giant fluffy dresses....

Gorgeous dress

Simple sweet outfits

....to fluffy porcelain-doll-like outfits

The contrast was really amazing sometimes - from super gothic....

adorable little birdies~

Looks like I hit the limit for uploaded images in one post, so I may make a second, but until then (or if I don't), feel free to check out my flickr which is full of even more Dollpa images!
Edit: I've now posted a more comprehensive report on my blog so please check it out if you want to see more!
