K-On! Mobip Figures

Posted by Actar [www]

Just released are pics of the first two Mobip figures of the K-On! girls, Yui and Mugi!

While the faces are slightly off, the figures themselves look great and the accessories are EPIC! Pics from ...

If you doubt Mobip's quality, check out my review of Mobip's Rin Natsume:

The faces are really putting me off.
Also it seems Ritsu's drumset is split among all characters. Marketing ploy much >.>
First was getting them, now it's a "maybe".
    Hope Mio turns out alright.

Yea, I don't quite like the faces they have there. Something seems... off.

Same here. The faces are the only thing putting me off. I want to see how well Mio and Ritsu turn out.

        Yea. Here's hoping for Figma's.
Didn't stop the Fate/Stay Night & Haruhi Frauleins and Figma's.

The faces seem a tad bit off but the figures themselves don't seem bad(already watched the review before). I am waiting for Mio and Azu0nyan to be released ^_^

I don't know I was hoping the next Mobip would be nice enough to tempt me, but their design, clothing and hair just looks really budget and heavy to me, not as soft and light looking as the Figma and Fraulein Revoltechs *shrugs* oh well

As for function, these figures seem to be pretty good...
But something about the faces seems a little off and I wonder if figma could have done a better job.
Would have liked to see a little more detail on the guitar too.

i got to agree here i'm not really a fan of the mobip face sculpt, although it isn't as terrible as some of the fraulein, they still don't seem accurate enough for me especially rin was a big letdown. wish MF could get license from key to produce figures from their work and since there's going to be a LB animation soon they don't have to be afraid that the figures won't sell.
