ON: K-ON's Azusa aka Azu-Nyan Nendoroid Sculpt Unveiled
Previews and sculpts of new figures were unveiled just hours ago at Chara-Hobby 2009, among them the purr-fectly cute twin-tailed backup guitarist Azusa Nakano (famously known as Azu-nyan) in nendoroid form from the K-ON! series. She comes complete with her Fender Mustang electric guitar and an amp.
Pre-order availability of GoodSmile's nendoroid versions of K-ON!'s leading stars Mio (bassist) and Yui (guitarist) opened up earlier this month, and prototypes of Tsumugi (pianist) and Ritsu (drummer) were shown at this Summer's WonFes. With definitive confirmation of an Azusa nendoroid in the works, K-ON! fans will rejoice in having the entire 'After School Tea Time' band in nendoroid form.
While still only in the earliest stages of creation, many fans of the series as well as figure collectors are sure to have Azu-nyan already on their wish list...if not already.
