To current season fans, 'tis song familiar?

Do you recognize the first song in this video?

Of course you do ^_^
Akazukin-chan Goyoujin by Lazy.
Got curious when I saw the song credited with a 1978 copyright, so I looked it up on YouTube!

Which one do you prefer?

Obviously this is not the first time it happened:

LOL (thanks to Kyourinsama for the link!)

EDIT: Otto, almost forgot about the one below!

Actually I recognized the song coz I played too much Drummania back in my home country.
Heck even now :P

EDIT 2: Gosh, how could I forget the legendary Tsubasa wo Kudasai, originally sung by Yamamoto Junko of Akai Tori (thanks Actar for the reminder!):

Then seiyuu legend Hayashibara Megumi followed suit for the Evangelion 2.0 movie.

And HTT added some pizazz to the whole song.

So this begs the question...

Which era of anime do you think is godly?

Aaah, I heard about Kimi ni Mune Kyun before, but I don't know Akazukin-chan Goyoujin is like that too. No wonder the song sounded a bit old-timeish ^^ Interesting~

Nice find! I love it when they re-use or give new life to oldies. One song that gets constantly used and re-mixed is of course the famous Tsubasa o Kudasai.

The original Kimi ni, Mune Kyun is really weird. I can't believe that that was done by guys.

Generally I prefer the newer versions, but I do like the original Akazukin-chan Goyoujin more.

I like the version sung by the girl group lol
But I can't believe they used a remake of a song for an anime's ending theme. That's crazy!

Well Akazukin-chan Goyoujin translates to "Take care, Little Red Riding Hood"
Very well-suited title for the anime, so maybe they just did a search.
Either that, or one of the staff is a fan of Lazy lol

Tbis poll is disappointing me. :[

    Moe does NOT replace story. It's sad when people watch pointless moe, because there's SO much better stuff out there. ;_;

LAZY was Hironobu Kageyama's band (and still exists) before he becomes the hot-blooded solo singer that we know today...

Still, to think that he did a cute song on his band before the 2010 cover version that makes it more cuter!

Funny enough, I thought the ending song was the one that was used in Kare Kano called S.O.S. It had a similar vibe to it, but I realize it's different now ^^; S.O.S. is originally an older song too.
