Best bet would be to order the stuff online. AmiAmi & Hobby Search both carry the Weiss Schwarz games and offer relatively competitive prices. Enjoy.

I wish that people would try to learn Japanese instead of always wishing for translations. :/

One small misread on a card can change the outcome of a match. With 50cards in a deck thats 100cards that can be misread.

Don't need to learn? Don't discourage others just because you don't want to spent the effort yourself.

            @Kousuke
That's what I would do. And if they don't know Japanese, help teach them, spread the knowledge. I correct my friends each time they say something wrong, especially "anime".

So says the one discouraging others from playing [your statement could also be aimed at people using fansubs/offical subs].

    They said in my mail:

Thank you for the email and interest in our products.

As for your enquiry, we normally attend exhibitions and do surveys to look at the market for card games in different countries.

Some interested distributors will approach us and leave their contacts, after which if we deem that the country is a viable market, we will contact the interested parties.

For America(USA), the talks for a possible distributor is already in progress so I’m afraid we do not have plans to take on anymore distributors in America at the moment.

@kousuke: People who have collected the Japanese cards (hardcore), will keep the cards.

I believe the place you are looking for is Toyslogic. They sell starters and booster packs. If I remember right they also had a workshop about a year ago on teaching people the game.

The packs are pretty expensive and would be cheaper to just buy a box from AmiAmi or HS.

Although it is cheaper to order by box or carton(16 boxes) there are also benifits of buying by packs.
Rare card chances are set when buying a box (4 RRs/ 3RRs + 1SP/RRR/ signed)

and btw there are translations for the cards for those that do not learn Japanese but the Japanese used in WS is really quite basic.

When exactly is this taking place? I have the Evangelion trial deck, and I've been trying to get more games in to get better. I'm also working on my own deck.

@tonyelpatron: Glendale. I already have a Lucky Star pack. I was going to hold an unofficial Weiss Schwarz workshop in GCC (making an anime club and teaching the game).
@Flawless&Shiki: Just look at online translations in http://weissschwarz.wikia.com/wiki/Wei%C3%9F_Schwarz_Wiki. Including http://ws.littleakiba.com
@kousuke: People will miss a lot if they wait for the translations to come out.

I use ws@nk-ds for translation and I try to read the card myself. If I don't know the words, I use a translator to break it down. Sometimes the translation can be off(the translator even states so). It best to double check on the cards you have using the translation and translating it yourself.

I only use ws@nk-ds when it is the only translation.

        Comparing translations for each:
        WS@NK-DS:
        Phrase: Yutaka usis..you;re heavy...v

        Text:
yActivatezmPut 1 card from your hand and this card into waiting roomn Choose 1 of your opponent's character
with level 0 or less, put it in the waiting room.

        Weiss Schwarz wiki:
        Konata「Big sister You're heavy…」
【Startup】[Put 1 card from your Hand to your Waiting Room, Put this card to your Waiting Room] Choose 1 of your Opponent's Character Cards which has 0 cost, and put it in their Waiting Room

        Little Akiba:
        ...guardskill, handsonic

        …ガードスキル、ハンドソニック

【S】● ASSIST 2000 Level 1 [① Discard this card from hand to Waiting Room] (Choose 1 character that is being Front Attacked, during this turn, it gets +2000 Power.)

        【起】● 助太刀2000 レベル1 [① 手札のこのカードを控え室に置く] (あなたは自分のフロントアタックされているキャラを1枚選び、そのターン中、パワーを+2000)

I look at the best translations (or whatever is available), then I use that translation. (or I ask someone who's proficient in Japanese)

You first will need a large crowd of players if you want Bushiroad to start merchandising in Cali... so round up a mass amount of players before anything else happens. I doubt my area has enough WeissSchwarz let alone know the game... It's hard to teach kids foreign games in foreign language T_T
