Looking for DD Fate

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a DD Fate.
Wondering where I would be able to find one for a good price?
I've been checking Yahoo Auctions but it's quite steep of a price there.
Since I'm also sort of deprived in the wallet, I couldn't possibly keep two DD's right now.
Any of you out there with DD Fate who would want to trade for DD Yui?
- While I'm at it, have any of you had any experiences trading or adopting off a person?
How can the process be facilitated so it is secure for both sides? Personally I'd love to make a trade with somebody willing, but I don't want to be a victim of possible scammers.
Just keep on scanning and possibly you'll be able to find her for a price that you can afford. I'm going to be honest with you and say this plain and clear, so please to be mad with me ok? If it were me, i wouldn't think that Yui for Fate is considered a fair trade. Yui cute and popular, but Fate is considerably more popular. Compared to Yui, Fate is also more considerable expensive than Yui in the after market, and if some one were to sell her, her end price could possibly get him/her two new dollfies (if they are of lotto prices). On another note, Fate also contains more accessories, Yui doesn't nearly compare as much. Anyways, if I had Fate, i wouldn't mind trading her for Yui ^^ Personally i prefer Nanoha over fate entirely. Again keep scanning and keep us posted if you get Fate XD

Accessories aren't all that make up a DD's worth although. Look at Sasara! Easily the highest price :3.
that's a relief ^^" but yeah it's not about the accessories, it's about the fan base around the character, and how many were in production. As far as i know, Yui is still fairly new and won't have a fan base as big as Fate's. Another thing is that with Fate she is a older release and will be rarer in quantity. If i can be of any help, i'll help scan YJA too XD as i'm not interested i can be of some help XD
Hello, I'm actually selling Fate's Clothes and Accessories but not fate herself, selling everything that comes with Fate except the weapons. Are you interested?
I have already sold 2 of Fate's weapon to Actar, but I'm keeping my Zanbar, rest assure I have done a lot of transaction thru Paypal with 100% postive rating thru my figure.fm customers :)

Fate is quite expensive, she even costs more than Nanoha...
If you can't afford to buy the whole Fate set, then you could just try to buy the head and accessories separately from YJA.
Excluding the fact that Fate is much more popular and rarer,

Got her last year in Japan and paid roughly 100,000 yen after tax.

I got my girl secondhand from another user on Den of Angels. DoA has a section dedicated as a marketplace, though, and as such have their own section for transaction feedback that I could check, something we could certainly use here. The seller also linked to her eBay feedback, something you might want to ask for here before committing to a purchase. You can also ask a seller for additional photos, putting in a request for some other item to be included in the photos to make sure they actually have the doll--a slip of paper with their username is common, though other objects I've heard suggested include pens and socks. XD
Once I'd checked the seller's feedback I just sent her a private message on DoA; another thing we don't have here but could certainly use. I suppose the closest you could manage here is asking interested parties to email you. But be sure to get at least one additional method of contact from them, in case something gets funky. Most all DoA transactions are done through Paypal, as Paypal not only masks your bank account information but also has proven to have significant leverage in the past in the event one of the parties turns out to be less than legitimate.
